This is not salvageable forget Leon Rose. We need pat riley
If Leon doesn’t talk after this 1. Forget about it
Knicks Should offer favs full refunds
3 loses in 4 days? From 1 game above .500 to two games below .500 and on a 3 game losing streak?
Blow it the fk up.
At least we have our pick. Tittie Washington or Dyson Daniels
Two games under .500 and then blow it up?
Not like we a 23 game winnig team. We trendig to 41-41 give or take.
One seaosn we good and now mediocrity is above some of you?
Then what, blow it up and among the smolding ashes we have picks?
Dolan protests to sell the team. He won’t.
Because its January and 2 games under .500? If last year did not happen, we’d be celebrating.
Phuckig pussies some of you are! Take a break for a few games. Relax.

Agree. We’re 22-24 people are acting like we’re 10-36
Knicks need to call up McBride to play pg. leave Burks and IQ at the 2 where they freakin belong and Randle and RJ need to start making free throws

There’s a better chance of earth colliding with Neptune than that happening
Rose has been fine so far. Most of Perry’s draft picks have been good. If he gets fired unfortunately it will revert back to Isiah running everything again and we know how that ends

McBride not the answer either. Lets not get carried away.
Kemba is not the problem, but he is not the solution.
Randle is really struggling. Dig the passing, dig the emotion, but he needs a release. Dude jsut had a kid. I know it takes a while before the mrs. Is back in the swing of things. Jules needs some? LOL.
Thbs can try a lot of things. The pieces jsut don’t fit this year.

The problem with using Burks and IQ at pg is they aren’t pgs and also their shooting falls apart
I’m not saying McBride is going to become Magic Johnson but at least as a backup to Kemba we actually get good Alec and good Immanuel playing off ball at the 2

You lost me. If Kemba not the problem or solution than why not play deuce??? I’m lost

Is Tittie Washington a real name?
The Kemba/Fournier experiment is where I see weakness. I don’t have a short term solution at PG, but they can certainly swap Grimes for Fournier.
I’d be willing to let Barrett run point with Grimes, Reddish, Randle and Robinson, but I don’t think Reddish will be ready for a few weeks.
Alternatively, I’d meet the asking price for Jerami Grant, an injured Myles Turner.
If Sac has a price for Haliburton, I’d be all over that. We should have drafted Haliburton.
Randle still has the most trade value and because the offense is designed around him - he needs very specific players to surround him. We keep searching for the perfect fits to offset other roster deficiencies, while we clearly have some (mismatched) talent on this roster. And agree 100% we need more energy - even if the youths aren't ready I would rather watch someone play consistently hard and lose due to a talent deficiency. Our starters play entitled which is the opposite of what Thibs seems to be about.
It's hard enough to construct a team around one star (eg Giannis, Lebron) when that one player is a top 5 player. We're building around a top 30/35 player so realistically - how good should we be?
I have hated how since last year we have chosen the way of mediocrity, looking for a gradual improvement driven by our young roster maturing while having some capacity for a blockbuster trade. I would have preferred to tank last season. But our path has been set, and the worst thing would be to blow it all up and start over again, without giving it a chance to play out for another couple of years. There is no way we will get equal or better value back for any of our players right now, so might as well play the hand we have been dealt.
This is not only about the players. It’s about the system. We play like shyt. Terrible offense and defensive execution. Very Knicks-like even with a COY at the helm instead of the Fizdales. This team might be cursed.
Can we get a lottery pick for Fournier? What about Burks? This ship 🚢 needs a new course I think.

Agree 100%
The only part where people may disagree is your hand or your deck of cards includes everybody including G league and overseas players who are on this roster. Before we trade Mitch for a PG which is similar to blowing it up to me because Mitch is part of this youth development movement. And blowing up this roster is similar to starting over which we’ve done over and over and over again, expecting a different result (the definition of INSANITY). We all think we need a PG or floor general, we have options to use that’s already on the roster. Or for those that think our starting 5 doesn’t play with the energy we need hence why the second unit is so good and usually makes the final score look better. We have options already on the damn team. And playing guys for a few games then sitting them is not the attempt I’m talking about.
So I agree, before we blow it up can we explore those options for a long period of time and not this start deuce for 3 games then back to g league. Start grimes for 2 games then back to the bench. Thibs gets paid 4 mill to fix these kinds of problems. Leon rose who created this roster is paid to also create and fix this roster.
Great artical to read. They used the words “broken” to explain this roster. Which means it’s fixable. I’ve used the word flawed which is similar but not as fixable as broken. I just don’t trust anybody now to start over. We suck at that.

This the kind of trades we should do, without blowing it up again or sacrificing our youths. Cp3 or Lebron james in his prime ain’t walking through that door to save us. Even if we wanted to start over for the 100th time.
Trade them or other roll playing vets for picks or young players similar in age to Mitch or younger. Let Randle figure out his mental challenges while RJ is ready to take the wheel. Thibs already proved that riding Randle and RJ with heavy minutes along with D Rose and Taj, we can make some noise. It was proven last year. Go back to what worked last year and rebuild from there. Before Kemba and Fournier arrived.

I don’t believe in curses. If that’s the case why was we successful last year? Leon rose messed up in the off season. Yes Payton had to go and we lost bullock. But we never replaced the positives they provided. We only focused on their negatives and thought Kemba and Fournier will off set their negatives and we will be better. That worked on my Xbox. In reality Payton and other provided something that worked. We lost that something. Penetration into the paint is a huge positive that Payton provided. I don’t care if he missed every layup or can’t shoot. That alone is missing in Kemba and Fournier. He would look Randle off and do his own thing. That’s also missing. We defer to Randle too much. See what the players did right that are no longer here and replace that. It’s not difficult. Bullock is a true catch and shoot player. The ball was in his hands for .2 seconds and it was gone. Fournier and Kemba need that rhythm dribble to get going. That’s a major conflict with the 2 players that Thibs rides every game in Randle and RJ. So obviously their game will be impacted by that as we’ve seen all year when our starters are healthy. Grimes can be that catch and shoot player. As far as penetrating the paint, rose can be that player but he’s not reliable health wise. Deuce can be that player, but he struggles with that as well. Still a better option to me than what we have now.
Levert would be a target. He’s a big PG that can penetrate the paint and play defense similar to what Payton provided. Defense length and penetration. Sounds a little sexual but u get my point. No homo
