Knicks · ATL hasn't loss a game since trading Cam (page 1)

They are 7-0

We are 1-7

He has played a few garbage minutes, and honestly I'm not sure Thibs has a reason to bench anyone in favor of him.

ThiBS-

Burks- Won't sit him because of his versatility

Fournier- Won't sit him because of his Pay and ability to heat up

Grimes- Thibs love everything about this kid, and will probably sit once rose comes back

OBI- Won't sit him because he has earned PT

IQ- Won't sit him because he has earned PT and loves his work ethic

RJ- The Future and the Present

As long as Noel and MITCH are somwe what healthy he will never play small ball.

Where are you going to find minutes to show case his talents or see if he is even a good fit

smackeddog @ 1/30/2022 3:43 PM
Correlation doesn’t equal causation

Are you really arguing Cam is somehow making us lose without even playing?

HoustonSprewell84 @ 1/30/2022 3:47 PM
Is knox playing?
smackeddog @ 1/30/2022 3:56 PM
ATL are 7-0 since I watched the movie Booksmart

They also started the easiest part of their schedule. They now have the 22nd easiest schedule for the rest of the year. Having played most of the best teams already.

No, no, it MUST be Cam Reddish- there can be no other possible explanation

I'm pretty sure that it's because the news broke that Wally is piping Rebecca. I haven't researched the team's record since the news broke, but it's been bad

Ha!

Haven’t loss since hunter returned from injury. Which is when cam was removed from starting unit and later traded. Hunter is the key reason. Not cam

No I'm not.

It's just a head scratcher on so many levels....

#1 is why not use your assets to address immediate needs.

Cam is an asset. He’s young and has ability. Thibs just has to like you know use him

Perception of that need? what you think it is? Or Thibs? Byrant? Payne? Etc?
Were does Cam fit?
EF is playing much better ball the last 10 games.
Grimes has really come on and earned his spot.
Im perplexed to where you’d fit him other than “We not winning so if losing is losing, why not try shit”?

Because sometimes the reality is the team is not far from being more successful.
RJ is playing great. Should we bench him if not winning?
Grimes is playing great. we not winning. Should we bench him?
EF goes cold and stops hitting his cuts, he sits.
Does team try to tweek randle or just give up on him and “blow it up”? After 50 games?

BTW, what has his last 5 games look like? Less shots? More passing? Cunfused? Body language off? Yes. What the fuck is going on with him? Media says Thibs wants him to stop trying to shoulder the burdan of scoring.
Im seeing that actually. I see the shitty attitude also. I don’t think he is immature enough to pout over RJ’s rise. That should be welcome and was inevitable. Is Thibs up his ass all the time and in his head? Could be.

Lets see if any trades come about.
lets see what the off season is about. Cam might not be used much this year but we clear a path for him in the future.
Best thing for Leon and Company to do is not let the last 20 years get to them. Focus on the future.

It’s addition by subtraction.

ATL is very similar to us that they have log jams everywhere and finding minutes creates dissension. I think we should probably move Cam in a trade with Fournier to get off his contract.

Cam has talent, but his market was minimal because he believes he’s better then he is and he deserves a role he hasn’t earned.

They are also shopping Collins which is the right move. To many guys with the same skills kills unity. We have the same problem with Kemba, Burks, Fournier right now. A change of scenery will be good for the rotations.

smackeddog @ 1/31/2022 2:16 PM
For the anti Cam folk- what was the other pathway for us getting a long, possible 3 and D wing player with upside? Genuine question- where you going to trade for one? Which one and what price? What long 3 and d player were you signing in free agency (with no cap space) or drafting?

Dude there is no ANTI CAM here

I think your missing the point.

The KNICKs need a pg and a more versatile BiG man as oppose to a 3-D wing that you can't use anytime soon.

Maybe it was less about addition through subtraction and it was a wake up call for the others there in Atlanta. That has less to do with Cam being good/not good - and more with guys just sleep walking.

It was more the injuries.

Hunter just came back for last 10 games after missing 2 months. Capella has been injured and just returned. Okongwu has pretty much missed the whole season coming back Jan 1 and has looked fantastic, really coming into his own especially on D side of things.

3 main cogs.
