Wasn't excited about trading for him. Maybe 5 years ago. But, thought that was a way for the Knicks to clear a few contracts off the books...

I wonder if the Spurs are going after KP- why would they trade for Dragic (who's salary is $19mil) when they'd only have to have paid $14mil to buy out Thad? Maybe they send Dragic plus picks or players to the Cavs for KP?
The knicks are offering our shtty contracts and avg players for expiring contracts or/and draft picks...
This why they get hung up on
Is it too early to call it - we got nothing!

Pure speculation but it certainly is consistent with the notion we are looking at a bigger deal. Also consistent w notion Damian may be traded as he can’t be happy w the talent exodus. Not saying Damian is coming here but I wouldn’t be surprised either.
Length and size of the contract put us off- Knicks front office has their price and won't exceed it, same reason we (thankfully) gave up on Dinwiddie and Hayward
if that's the basis and they're exercising good discipline, then great. that said, they had all the reason for a mild panic purchase with the way this season is going.
somewhat ironic that Keon Johnson was our draft pick
We have been doing that since phil was fired..and were no better now

Sounds like we’re going the Westbrook route to dump some of the sh t contracts like EF and Burks
Westbrook has a player option worth 47 million. Won't we be even worse off if we trade for him? If it was expring id do it in a second but it isnt
And now we are into the margins of luxury tax trades
Tic toc, knicks are on the clock...2 1/2 hrs
Nothing???

so what do you want them to do? you seem to think they stink at the following:
trades
draft
fa (udfa included)
can you name me other ways you can get players? if they stink at this and you fuss about it, should they fold em up as a team? if they dont fold, they have no other options than to keep trying those routes. if other teams dont like what they have, what can they do right now? if they are bad at getting a roster together, they have to find a way to figure it out. doing nothing at all does that, nothing.

Never say die! Over 2 hrs left. Prepare to be astounded.
There are so many Cam fans. I never seen someone have such rabid fans for having done so little.
