I think it is good for KP, he can finally be Nr 1 option and play like in NY, in Dallas it was all about Luka.

Until the start of next season when Beal comes back?

Clean @ 2/10/2022 3:04 PM

This is how big the NY market is for media guys, our own Woj callout

jskinny35 @ 2/10/2022 3:09 PM
Per Woj - no deals for Knicks

Feel bad for Enes. Every new team he joins, embraces 100% as his new family.

Good luck in Houston!

We should consider Dragic short-term if he doesn't wind up in Dallas

I would much rather turn the keys over to Duece,

If we buyout vets we will get nothing in return. We will have no money for Brunson in the summer. We have to watch more Randle contested turnaround mid range shots and ISOs. We still have no PG. We still have to watch Quick and Burks struggle to play PG. The good is the Knicks FO did not have a chance to mess things up even more.

There can still be moves made on draft night (before free agency starts). We have a boatload of 2nd round picks and several firsts, some young talent we could part with... so I think today was more about seeing if any other teams would "blink" and take on some of our vets. Nobody did today but we still have options as we approach free agency. While disappointed they didn't find any takers for Burks, Kemba, etc.. glad they didn't lose Mitch and will have 2nd half to see if Cam has any potential or if he's Knox's twin. As we get closer to playoff elimination - Thibs will likely loosen up a bit and give McBride and some young players more time...

Agree but think it's unlikely Thibs will just play the youths (until we're eliminated from playoffs). Dragic purpose would be more of a mentor role if he were here - eg little minutes, vet presence for young players.

So, when RJ and Rose comeback does this mean the player we traded a 1st rd pick for goes back into the mothballs?

Cam and Deuce are the main one who will/can suffer from lack of playing time.
