In the NBA world, thats the first sign that a player is getting traded. Shame. I know some dont like him but I think he is a good player and is not being utilized properly. Anyway.

Part of the issue is Knicks fans viewing Randle as a savior. He's not. He's a very good player who elevated to lights out last year. In reality, he could be an excellent second or third option on many teams.

But Yes…I agree, 100%. Athletes would fare much better if they were off social media. I would imagine that part of his issue is all the backlash he is receiving from fans. In any case, history has shown that a player unfollowing the organization he plays for, on twitter, is never a good sign.

He's a good player, played really hard, was a big part of a nice turnaround last year but this is not the guy you build your franchise around. That means if he cant gel with the other talent on your roster he becomes a piece you need to move. We are at that point.
I just looked and saw something that says Randle has informally requested a trade. Let’s hope we can get this done before he goes Ben Simmons on us

somtimes they upgrade when they get big money. But thats not “juicy”!
Bottom line is I don’t see dumping his contract for cap space as there is little FA coming on the market.
Any value he has comes for free as he was a free agent.
I don’t have a the expectation that he need be last years randle to live up to the contract. He needs to stop forcing 3-4 shots per game, perhaps team needs to free him up for a few easier shots, avg 20 pts, and reduce his touches as playmaker. Not entirely. His abilty to penetrate is one reason we shot so well last year.

He's a post bully ball player player but he sees himself as a point forward and he really isnt. His jump shot hasnt been good and his shot selection is also not good. He thinks he's a Kobe like ISO scorer (based on how he plays) and he just isnt.
His adjustments this year have NOT been good at all
