Finney Smith just signed a 4 year $55m8l extension. I think that puts the Mavs on $140mil next season and that's before any Brunson pay out. In that case the 2023 mavs pick is important as it means we're blocking them from trading future firsts which could help them shed salary/contracts (due to the protections)

I agree the scenario seems plausible but do you think that changes anything? This roster is still flawed. If Randle continues his poor play we are going nowhere

KP and Janis were right in a way in choosing to leave this losing franchise but they didn't exactly win either. KP is on his way to being an injury prone journeyman. Kid needs to get healthy and humble himself. But Wiz are not a bad spot for him. Beal's strengths fit better with his skillset.

My sentiments about the Knick's are shared by 1000's of many frustrated fans.
