he's not going past 15 in my opinion.

Actually watching that video, I think we’ll be lucky to get him with our own pick at 8-10.

March Madness and then work outs, combine, all have a way of winnowing out some of the top prospects. This kid looks legit. I don’t want Tyty Washington because he is too small for the NBA, where you have to switch and have strength to shoot long distance all night.

Huh? He's projected in the 50s. He's 22 and his shooting sucks and I suspect he's a poor defender as well.

He’s been getting lots of attention and now projected in the first round

I think you can get him high 2 Nd rd. There’s a lot of pluses but he’s older not a great 3 point shooter and wouod need yo transition to full time pg. but he’s a great prospect the way Ayo Dosumno was.

Yeah, I can see a team taking a chance on him in the first round after looking at the success of older guys like Bane and Ayo.

we talking like nobody ever drafted an 22 year old? Adult dogs? Foster children?

I know it's ridiculous, but these scouts get stuck in a hive mind. Sometimes it's more about archetypes than an individuals actual utility. We're all kind guilty of it. That's why we keep getting Chet Holmgren/Evan Mobley comparisons, although it's clear they're different players with overlapping skills. And it's why a player like Haliburton will fall, while a player like Joshua Jackson will go in the lottery. The unknown is scary and these guys need to feed their families.

We could use the Charlotte pick back

Charlotte pick was top 18 protected and gets deferred if lower than 18. Currently projected to be deferred until 2023.

he made it look easy. Like he looks like the kind of player that will be able to do this at the next level. He's big, he can dribble, get the hoop. He looks strong and can shoot from distance without struggling.

I'm not sure there is a better, stronger big PG in this draft?

Cam is 22 years old. Im good with what we did. Injury aside. Not sure Thibs agrees but if healthy he might have been seen as a great trade chip. Still might be more than that CLT pick given its indeterminate status.

Not sure this was meant for me but I agree. Some people are continually pointing to losing the Charlotte pick and wanting it for this year's draft - however I just wanted to point out that it will be deferred / likely not be in play this year. In fact it may end up converting to 2nd Round picks if not qualified over time.
