he is playing like someone 23. I was wrong for thinking he would be a bad signing, though at 33, how much longer can he perform like this?

Is DeRozan on steriods? His jump at his age is not normal. He was never this good (not even close) in Toronto or San Antonio. Something is fishy.

man Chicago has had a ton of injuries. Patrick Williams out so far for season. Caruso has barely played this year and Lonzo is on this way to missing his usual 20-30 games for the season.
For anyone who wanted Knicks to pursue Ball, his injury history SUCKS.

Boo hoo...Jokic has had to deal with team injuries and relies on Austin Rivers and Facundo Campazzo for major minutes. Switch teams and the Bulls would be hands on favorites for the title.
Watching a guy operate in the midrange is refreshing. Fades, turnarounds lost art in today’s NBA.

Had we added Demar & Ball, however, I would have been totally behind the move. Just Demar, probably not.

Quite frankly, just adding Demar would have been good enough for me. Make him the SF point guard.

Vooch was a bust last year but the whole chemistry of this years team has come together very nice and Demarr has been exceptional.
Would he been as so here? We'll never know.
Had he come here at that price, and Evan for the lessor with Bulls? Perhaps Demarr does not gel here as he did with bulls and Evan has a good (not mvp like of course) and we like.. "Man, for the money we should have signed Evan!!! ".
But we didn't. Kudo's to Lavine in a contract year to blend in as he has. Vooch is not having a typical all star year but he is there. Despite injuries BIlly Donovan is really earning his keep this year and making arguement for COY!
Derozan playing at a high level but he will not do this for next 2 yrs.. I dont think so. We are trying to build a championship team next 3 to 4 yrs so glad we didnt get him for 27mil per

I wanted us to SPEND and get an impact guy. The FO seems good at drafting role players cheap. Guys like McBride, Sims, Grimes could help with depth. We should have just spend and gotten the highest impact guy you can. Thats what you do with max cap space. I wanted to pay Derozan. If not him than Mike Conley. If not him Norm Powell... those were the 3 guys we could land that would have really moved the needle. Instead we got Burks/Forn/Kemba/Rose/Noel and just clogged the roster with vets that need minutes

LOL... you talking about championship? Have you watched the Knicks this year? Or last? What path do we have to a championship caliber roster next couple years? Derozan is guy who allows you win now, takes pressure off Randle/RJ to be great every night and allows the Knicks to give younger guys more burn because we have a top heavy roster
