Hopefully, each vet will get similar news eventually (Someone will have covid contact issues, etc...). Sometimes it's real, sometimes it's a coverup to playing the yoots more (just my own conspiracy theory). Gives Thigs the green light to play guys like Deuce or IQ at PG instead of Rose. Next is Burks. He's due for an injury update soon.
Personally, I dont see the point in playing Rose right now, especially starter minutes. The season is almost over and the playoff door is slowly closing. This is something we all wish other knick coaches of the past, went towards development vs winning meaningless games.

Let IQ and Deuce (and hopefully Reddish & Sims) play these final 23 games as much as possible. If we win cause of them, that's good! If we lose, no big deal. We are losing anyway.

Exactly. Now there is no excuse for not giving McBride minutes. Give McBride and IQ all the minutes they can handle and see if either one looks like an NBA starting pg. that will info will help a lot with planning the offseason moves.

I made this reply in the other thread, but just to give context why I'm bummed by this (aside from the obvious that I just enjoy watching Derrick Rose play basketball...)
If Deuce is the result, then great. I'm on board. More than likely, I would guess this means Burks and IQ both full-time at PG. Would open up minutes for Reddish at any rate.
I actually see Rose as a development piece when played with the 2nd unit. I think having him back on the floor is the easiest way to get things right with Quickley, and would hope/expect this carryover to Obi as well with consistent PG play/looks on offense
