EF is paid like a starter and should be a 6 man coming off the bench and firing.

We need Randle in the post but he wants to play like a guard and shoot fadeaway jumpers.

The balance on this team is off. Starters play half court sets. Bench is run and gun. Overall, we have better run and gun players with RJ playing down hill. If it was me I would trade Randle and build a run and gun team. But add a post player or two in case the game has to slow down and we need someone in the post with post move and back to the basket type player. Or coach Randle into being that player. But I’m not sure about him with his mentor gone.

To be fair, I think both Randle and Fournier are paid 1 step down from where you think they are paid.

Fournier is def a bench player.

IQ 3 missed FTs, typical wide open missed three by Obi and missed bunnies at the rim by RJ and Randle (who was just awful!) and that was the ballgame.

I have no issues with Randle 'losing his temper' at the end of game as losing is frustrating and he was not having a good game but it's more irritating to me how he's allowed to continue to play big minutes and get the ball that much. I guess Thibs feels he needs Randle at all costs to win games as he doesn't have much behind him (Obi stinks!) but there's gotta be a way to hold him more accountable. I have no issues with Randle missing shots but it's the type of shots he takes where he just hogs the ball and makes stupid decisions and his complete lack of defensive effort is what angers me.

And I do like Thibs and do think he deserves another season but he's not had a good year. Last night was more puzzling decisions from him. Especially when he took out IQ with about 5 minutes to go. He eventually brought him back in but the game was pretty much over by then. IQ deserved to finish this game. It's like Thibs has a set rotation and plan before a game and he just doesn't make any changes or adjustments no matter what. We've seen it all season. That's cool if you have an established team but we don't have that. The guys who play best should finish the game regardless of what the gameplan was beforehand!

11 more go go.

He seems absolutely mentally fried and has done for months. I feel bad if he’s genuinely going through some stuff. I mean surely it can’t just be a case of him not being able to handle the criticism (which lets me honest, has been relatively tame in comparison to what Westbrook has faced and the Knick fans haven’t been especially bad to him from what I’ve seen), or that he gets jealous of RJ or whatever player is getting hype, or his slightly reduced role, can it? He acts like a kid- players wind him up, refs get to him, the crowd gets to him- he throws tantrum’s, he sulks, he wanders around aimlessly in his own world. I just don’t get what is up with him.

Why does he have to be such an a-hole at every opportunity?!:

I presume his last few games slump is maybe due to the loss of Kenny Payne, maybe?
