Of course we never move up , take Dyson Daniels at 11
orl gets 1-1. they will have some roster moves to make if they pick the skinny kid.
The Tanking teams with the good picks. I thought the NBA said they fixed it?

How big is that box?
Not big enough to dump my disappointment in.
To be honest I rather the NBA go to a NFL system. It sucks when a team like the Lakers or Grizz already have good teams and jump up to the top picks. The whole point of the draft is so the bad teams can get better to make a more balanced distribution of talent in the league. Can't happen when the good teams also get the best players.
We went through that season to end up with the 11th pick.

Trade the pick with Randle for the best package that includes a capable PG. I have no confidence we'll ever take the right guy.

Kennedy Chandler please
Drats drats and double drats. My plans have been foiled yet again
Oh well time to make a margarita the classic way. Equal parts tequila Cointreau and fresh lime juice
Package the pick with Randle and get the best available PG you can get.

I was worried if we ended in the top 4, we would move it for Mitchell.
I'm happy at 11- I think we can absolutely get a great player.
But- if there is a trade package- 11 & Obi- what can we get? Can we get a serviceable young PG with upside.

Honestly the only time moving back really screwed us was 2009 when we picked 9 and Steph Curry was taken at 8. I was salivating over him that night as were lots of other Knicks fans
Sometimes moving back helped us. We dodged a bullet moving back in 2015. Okafor was a horrible bust and Russell has been meh
I like our spot, BPA...alot of depth up to the Knicks pick ....we'll add another piece, building a great team!
God forbid Shaeden Sharpe drops. Tari Eason after that. Dyson as a third choice. Only way to lose in this draft is to skip out on the athleticism and length for something more misleading. Don’t feel as engaged in this draft, feel like our choices are determined by those who come before us.
OKC seems to have a weird position. #2 pick. Tons of draft picks. Over the cap. Lots of prospects on the roster. They kind of have to do something. Kind of like the Sixers pre-Embiid, but they are in position to start wasting picks. Would love to start a conversation on how to make both teams better.

terrible move
grab the bpa in the draft - lose randle - sign mitch - and ramble with the youngbloods and their love of playing together. it’s no bs seeing the crazy chemistry of quick and obi and co.

Does OKC think Giddy can be their start PG of the future and make SGA a trade bait? If SGA becomes available i hope the knicks call. They can give them more picks and some of the youth. If they want Randle much better.

This!! As bad as last season was, the one bright spot all year and especially the last dozen games or so was the energy and chemistry of our youth. Hopefully, we grab the best player @ 11 and fully invest in a core of RJ, Obi, IQ, Mitch and Cam.
If the FO does their draft homework, which for the past couple of years they have shown that they do. Im comfortable with the knicks picking at 11. Some big names have been selected at 11, Klay, Miles Turner, SGA, Cam Johnson, Sabonis. If the FO continue to excel in the draft #11 might be the lucky number after all.
The rockets are open to trading the 3rd overall pick. With orlando and the thunder most likely getting one of the 3 bigmens, at #3, Ivey might still be available. Im ok for the knicks to stay and pick at 11 but what might be the price of moving up to 3 to get Ivey? This might be a good opportunity to secure a franchise PG.
In the past this knicks FO showed everyone the ability to move down and still get an impact player, can this be the year they show fans they can also move up the draft to get a PG target?

It would take too much, especially when our strongest card is the 11th overall pick.
