Hopefully Ainge isn't watching... He might say 'keep Grimes and give me more first rounders! ".

8-0 Knicks run !!!

Portland is a bad matchup for us. I wanted Grimes or McBride to shine so they can increase their value. Oh well……Grimes is a gone. FO not going to stop a trade because of grimes. I really wanted to see him grow as a knick. We rarely draft and grow our own players. But it looks like these guys will be shipped and replaced. Still too much for Donovan but you gotta pay to play.
NYKBocker @ 7/17/2022 4:37 PM
These guys are missing sims all the time
TPercy @ 7/17/2022 4:37 PM
Why was Keels and Hunt given contracts
MaTT4281 @ 7/17/2022 4:38 PM
Even on these Portland makes, we're leaving guys completely wide open down low waiting for the offensive rebound.
blkexec @ 7/17/2022 4:38 PM
Back to fixing my car. Was hoping to see a chip. Now it looks like we will see a record breaking trade.
TPercy @ 7/17/2022 4:39 PM
Sims getting cooked
NYKBocker @ 7/17/2022 4:39 PM
Sims allergic to boxing out
MaTT4281 @ 7/17/2022 4:40 PM
"Portland is 3 minutes away from their first Summer League Championship since 2018."

Announcers are definitely in off-season mode.

blkexec @ 7/17/2022 4:40 PM
Sims and Grimes had bad games. Tough to win that way. This team needs grimes to shine and sims above the rim in order to win.
TPercy @ 7/17/2022 4:41 PM
Robinson ain’t letting nun of this happen
MaTT4281 @ 7/17/2022 4:43 PM
Taj, come back!
blkexec @ 7/17/2022 4:45 PM
Someone said grimes still can’t go left. From what I saw grimes doesn’t have the vision when to crossover or drive straight. Going left he had a few left to right crossovers. You learn that as a ball handler to see the floor and decide which side is open. That will come with time once he sees the film.

I don’t like this hunt kid at all. It’s not All about him like no one knows you dude.

Hunt has been complaining every call. Coincidence he worked out with Randall all summer ?

Lmao. But fr tho dude can’t play yet he acts like he can. Half his possessions should’ve been in Grimes/McBrides hands.

TPercy @ 7/17/2022 4:58 PM
Also Keels was a bad fit for this SL team. Had to play very off ball which isn’t ideal for a guy who can’t shoot.
TheGame @ 7/17/2022 5:02 PM
Knicks just did not play together and let Portland take too many wide open 3s. Portland’s shots weren’t even off of two pass assists. It was just simple drive and kick passes, which reflects bad defensive rotations. Grimes took some bad shots and his teammates did not do a great job setting him up. Sims got burned too much on defense mainly because he kept going for pump fakes. Keel was garbage. Just not a great effort from the team.
Clean @ 7/17/2022 5:03 PM
Ended on a sour note but the guys played well this summer. Thibs development into all of them was evident. I hope they rest up and get some more work in before the season. Their shots on the real team will come easier since teams will be loading up on the starters.
