Mentioned last year, when all the cries for him to start were out there, that he seems nervous at the pro level. Have never liked his court vision. Have no idea what the stats are but I don't think McBride is having a bad game. I am just looking to see if he has improved his weaknesses. The thing keeping him from taking the next step is not being able to break down the D.

Grimes is this years summer league version of IQ. He’s a little inefficient due to increased usage but he looks sort of out of place in terms of being a high level nba player.

You’re not wrong he should start for defensive purposes. But also keep in mind how badly Fournier would dominate summer league offensively.

My POV on Fournier/Grimes is like that of a title fight.The challenger has to take the title. Grimes does this game after game, after game, during the regular season. And Fournier isnt playing well, then we'll talk.

Fournier set a 3pt franchise record, his first season here, with no real PG to speak of. Not getting the rush to replace him from the jump. Without seeing how Brunson changes the equation..
