Good... letting him walk for nothing wasnt doing anything to help our team
Good to hear. We need to keep Mitch. Some may think he is not worth it but the intangibles are important on every good team. Most point to what he can not do while ignoring what an important part he is to a good defense. IF healthy, MR is a key piece. Think this will improve with strength training and getting better at not falling for all those fakes that get him up in the air and in compromising positions.
I hope Mitch comes back at no more than ~$13M. Love Mitch on the team in the short term, don't think he necessarily fits on a deep playoff team but that's years away anyway
Have you not seen his 3pt shooting YouTube videos?
Think Detroit will dangle the $15-$17m for him. Knicks will have to match.

I don't think Detroit starts off making Mitch an offer now...with all they've cleared up, option A got to be Ayton. Hopefully we can get Mitch to commit before they redirect if Ayton says no.
But I would still feel good at $16M on Mitch. Would go up to $18 if it was a deal breaker.

I don't think Ayton says no. The issue is how much Phoenix wants to play ball. Ayton needs Phoenix to get all five years of his max with Detroit. Other issue is even if Detroit does sign Ayton to an offer sheet, Phoenix can drag the issue out and cause Detroit to miss out on other FAs.
Might be a signal to kings. Get us the 4 pick or we walk away and resign our guy Mitch
