Rose should be fired if we don't sign Brunson next week. It's not that Brunson is that great but Rose made the moves at the draft specifically for Brunson. And if he cannot lure his Godson after hiring his father and knowing him his entire life, what good is he good for? Wasn't Rose hired cause his so-called connections?
And some of you need to stop with the Kyrie stuff. Have some damn self respect! This clown dissed us and has proven to be unreliable, selfish, lazy and mentally ill!

Based on last season your correct. But what if they all step forward this season and show improvements from last season? I know RJ is working on his game because he feels this team is now his. Any steps forward by them 3 or even the other guys (Mitch and Grimes) will make this same team look completely different.

And if we do sign Brunson, I don't think Mitch at C works offensively. Brunson and RJ need tons of room and spacing. We gotta either start Obi at C and live with the declined rim protection or sign a C who can space the floor. Mitch, RJ and Brunson is too congested imo.

Unfortunately, you will have to enjoy the Knicks with Mitch and Brunson. That's just the reality of things. Obi ain't EVER starting for Thibs at C, get over that notion.

If we get playoff Brunson, Randle returns partially to form, Barrett takes a leap, I think we could be a 2nd round team. The upside is that we have a lot of assets to eventually get that true #1 option we just have to be patient and keep stockpiling assets in the meantime.

I deep dived Brunson and he reminds me of Mike Conley… on the Grizzlies. I went fromwtf is this FO doing to… ok I get it. It sucks but what can the FO do they painted themselves into the corner last summer, and we all spoke about how on 5he low their FA moves ruined the season before it started.
I like Tyus, but Tyus isn’t doing what Brunson is doing nor what’s he done. Plus Tyus probably hates the Knicks FO. Not one player on he Wolves under Thibs likes Thibs.

If we sign Brunson, we need to do some serious roster re-working because:
is a horrific fit on offense and defense- it doesn't work at all. Get rid of Randle and replace him Obi, and at least it makes more sense on offense, but we cannot go into next season with that as our starting lineup- you have too little 3pt shooting, when Brunson, RJ and Randle all need spacing to work most effectively, plus you have 3 players who will all want to dominate the ball.

Regardless of whatever move we make, RJ and Randle need to be better shooters for this team to succeed. I think you sub Fournier out with Grimes for added defense. We need to go back to having Reggie Bullock types in the starting lineup.
