I'm so excited over keeping Mitchell Robinson.
I was having nightmares about just the thought of him escaping NY and going to a team with an elite PG before becoming a Perennial All-Star.
If Brunson is everything Knicks fans are telling me he is as a pure PG and floor general?
Mitchell Robinson will FEAST down low and also on the fast break.
Awesome Rebounder ✔️
Great Defender @ Protecting the rim ✔️
Untapped Offensive Potential alongside of an elite PG ✔️
Mitch's teammates, past and present, could throw lobs near the rim, and he would finish with ease. Looking forward to seeing what a legit PG can do with Mitch's game. Dont really care if he can hit a 3, but a midrange game would be welcome.

I do not like the idea of spending money on the Center position - the least most important position in basketball today imo - unless that guy is a star or someone who is durable and contribute to both sides of the floor.I honestly do not think having Mitch over a Hartenstein/Sims combo makes that much of a difference or moves the needle at all. I also have a bad feeling Mitch is one of those guys who can 'Randle' us after getting the bag. Really hope I'm wrong and Mitch goes onto that next Tyson Chander/Camby level but I don't see it.
Disagree. His deal is team friendly considering the amounts now being paid. He is an important part of our defense. A rim protector is always needed so if Knicks decide to move on, think it will be quite easy to find interested teams. Utah just got a crap load of picks for one.
Happy we kept one of our young pleasant surprises. IF he stays healthy he will be a big part of our success.
Locked up long term 4 years $60 million. Reasonable deal.
