We have to hit paydirt on a french kid one of these days!

This kid is getting some buzz as a possible second rounders. I don't really see it, but the tools are enticing.

Jordan Hawkins has to be jumping into the top 13
His combination of shot ability and athleticsm is college elite.
One thing I noticed about him too. He’s tough and he gives 100% on defense

Yup he’s really good. Only drawback is he doesn’t create much offense off the dribble, but that can always come. He’s a 2-way player. I’m keeping a close eye on him and Colby Jones in the range we will be drafting. I’m going on the assumption that we have 2 picks in the middle of the first round but will only draft 1 player. The other pick will be traded for a future pick, packaged to move up, or more likely used as part of a package for a veteran player.

Hawkins has more upside than Jones. I think jones can be a high quality 3d
Hawkins reminds of a version of eric Gordon

You’re definitely right. I think Jones is a nice oversized combo guard like a Burks or Brogdon. He can shoot, defend and handle the ball, but doesn’t have the explosiveness to be anything more than a role player. Hawkins can be more. Like a poor man’s Klay, but has a wider development range than Jones.

Hawkins climbs up to 20. This feels like a fit as of right now. Lights out shooter, won’t sacrifice defense and as a sophomore he’s a bit more ready but still offers upside. Knicks need a 3&D wing and he seems fitting. For what it’s worth he’s CAA too. I’ll draft him and move the other pick as part of a trade for a veteran. Either as part of an OG trade or a slightly lesser player.

Cool website that compares historical prospect stats. Compares Per 40 and advanced stats.

Man, it'd suck if we have to play them in a play-in game - a win would still sting!

FO: Everyone is on load management for that game except McBride, Keels, Sims, Cam, Fournier and bench of DRose, suck it!
Thibs: Mitch, Randle, RJ, Grimes, IQ, Brunson all playing at least 40 minutes goddammit

This draft is very heavy. One of my draft picks is Trayce Davis--Im all in on him as a C/PF prospect. Than Im open for a wing so many to go by Lewis Hawkins Wilson Black etc// F draft is loaded up. Im open to using all 3 picks if washington makes playoffs. 2 players to knicks one to Westchester.

haha yes: Rayan Rupert who is slated in the early 20's, perfect range for Knicks/Dallas pick

Outside of following FSU basketball, I don't really know too much about these NCAA prospects this year.

But I'm shocked that Zach Edey is only being mocked as a 2nd round prospect, rather than a guaranteed 1st round lottery pick?

• He's 7'4 with the weight to match @ 290+ lbs (the biggest big-man in the Country).

• 22 Points Per Game (4th in Country).

• 13 Rebounds Per Game (2nd in County).

• 2.1 Blocks Per Game (22nd in County).

• 61.7 FG% (16th in County).

• The leader of the #1 Ranked Team in the Country in Purdue (21-1 Overall).

He doesn't shoot 3's. At all. He's the definition of an old school back to the basket who lives in the paint Center. Which is my only guess on how/why he's not being mocked #1 overall? Because if this were the 1990's? He's going #1 overall. Everytime I've watched him play, I think to myself... Yao Ming.

How is this kid not projected to go as a lottery draft pick?!?

This answered it. Who does he guard in the halfcourt and transition?
