Evan, Obi for Hayword and the 27th pick.
Ok I don't hate it. But Haywood helps us in the playoffs next season, how ?

If healthy, he passes, he shoots, he is 6-8. Small forward and SG.
If, if, if.................
he plays 50 games. His salary is high, its why you get him cheap.

So in the playoffs he backs up RJ and draft a back up 4/5 ?. Dont hate it but does he play defense ? Does Hartenstein, Hayward, IQ, Hart get it done ? Does Hayward play some back up 4 ?

Hayward could play backup 3/4 and improve the shooting and shot creation on the team for sure.

I see your thinking. However we can't trade for a younger, healthier, better two way player ?

Sure, but the cost is much higher and we probably don’t have the role available for a younger player looking for a significant role. Hayward is at a stage in his career where he might be great there.
Gordon h would be a terrible fit. Fournier part 2
Haywood comes cheap, and has one year on his deal.
Idea is where does he want to be after????
Good/great teams have these kind of guys. Look at Lowrey? Granted, he was signed at 30mil per for two years.
While he has been a bit of a disappointment, not like Miami has not done well anyway. He contributes.

Man. Hard to even open it knowing we have no draft picks. So boring without a pick.

Cool. Maybe we'll actually make a pick next season.
