Utah didn’t extend the QO to Pachall. A bulky 6’6 250, he’s a bit quicker than you might expect. Played with Brunson at Nova and is from Tarrytown, would be at home at the Knicks practice facility. With Gibson leaving, need to fill that PF role and he has a few good connections that make him fit. I could see the Warriors picking him up again, they traded him last season but he has the same Nova connection to Divicenzo.
Not gonna make or break this squad, but it gives that third unit a bit of muscle and defense. McBride, Grimes, Keel, Paschall and Sims won’t be the most athletic third unit, but they will muscle up a bit and play hard nosed defense. Not a bad guy to have at practice to make Randle earn his post positions.

Sure, why not? Prefer someone like this or Hunt (ROOTING HARD FOR HIM!) over signing someone like Melo and I like Melo but this is not the time to do this.
