If it's a playoff series vs the Nets do you just foul Claxton and Simmons every time they touch the ball? They both shoot .45 from the ft line which means average points per possession is .9, which would be the worst offense by a long, long stretch. It almost seems like bad coaching to?not already be doing this.

Can still be traded by 2/9 which really makes me wonder.
Pre-arranged deal where extension $ set to fit parameter of player salaries to be traded at deadline?
So the Lakers complain about bad officiating and the world stops and the referee association apologises. What a fucking joke the league is becoming

The "Star League" bulls#!t is nothing new. Larry Bird would come to MSG and it was like he walked on the goddamn water. But yeah, it's gotten worse not better. Labronna, Steph, Ja etc. get their tukuses kissed so much the league needs chapstick.

How many times did Jordan get fouled in crunch time? They stars and they get the call.
Ewing got many to be fair.

I’ve never seen a public apology like this before. Pathetic
Looked at a stat irrelevant to any conversation here:
Phil Jax coached 20 years. Has 11 rings. A very gaudy .704 winning %.
He is2nd all time in winning % behind Steve Kerr who has coached about a third the amount of games.
How is it he was only coach of the year once?
Kareem won 6 mvps, Russell and Jordan 5, Lebron and Wilt 4. Always debatable but if there was one stat for the Mt rushmore there is your five. Next is Moses Malone, Bird and Magic with 3 each.
Maybe Magic should have more but Jordan came along and he had Kareem WITH HIM (and visa versa I suppose). Maybee appropriate that both Bird and Magic each have the same? Weird in a way.
I see lebron sat out against the Nets - is that so he could be fully rested for us? And then receive all the super apologetic make up calls from his refs?
Man, if Fred is able to pull this 🤣 That Brunson might become the second best FA deal after Nash.
https://hoopshype.com/lists/raptors-rumo...Scotto: We’ve got the locker room leader, Fred VanVleet, coming up on a player option, which by all accounts, from anyone you talk to around the league, is expected to decline that player option and enter unrestricted free agency. Regarding VanVleet’s extension talks before the season, I was told that the four-year, $114 million extension offer was never going to be high enough since VanVleet, who’s one of the top free agents entering the market this summer, considered himself somewhere in the $30-35 million average annual range, which is similar to Jrue Holiday’s average annual salary (this season), for example.
There seemed to certainly be an understanding with Toronto and Fred at the time that it was just a logistical thing. The possibility of him being in Toronto long-term was certainly in play.

Brunson is gonna make FVV bank.
Raptors might be experiencing "Uncertainty issues" on the roster which is driving Nurse nuts.
Ujiri has to settle his guys down They playing for money or to win? They ignoring the coach? They have talent and the issues are about business???
THats on FO to settle.

Phil only won COTY during the 1996 Jordan comeback 72 win year when the media literally siphoned the bulls testicles dry any chance they got. His best ever coaching job ever was the year Jordan was out on gambling suspension and he was a shady Hugh Hollins call away from eliminating the Knicks again with just Scottie on the team.
The media in the 90’s loved Larry Brown and Pat Riley.

Lebron forcefield rule definitely in effect tonight
I thought the nets had a superstar? 🤣 Then how they down 33-7 to the Celtics 🤣

Celtics can’t miss
Walker Kessler is a steal. He’s already near gobert level and Minny is gonna have to pay for years
