Not sure if the 26-29 Bulls being led by Zach LaVine are just an atrocious team, or if Brooklyn is just better than expected; because either way the Nets just beat up on Chicago even without both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant (traded) and were also without their players in Cam Johnson, Nic Clayton, Mikal Bridges and Steph Curry's younger brother. And Chicago still lost by 11 points.

Unreal how guys just thrown out there with like near zero training could do that.
I think the Nets are going to be better than some people think.
I was looking at the box score- and amazingly Zach put up a bunch of buckets and they still lost.
Some would say we dodged one by not getting him.

Despite his 38 Points, if he were a Knick?
Knicks fans (last night) would've criticized (and killed) him for A.) Losing. B.) Only 1 Assist. C.) Only 1 Rebound. D.) 0 Steals. E.) Only 2/7 from 3 and most importantly F.) 4 Turnovers.
And can't no one convince me otherwise.
In all seriousness; I would've fallen into Knicks depression had we traded away and quit on a 22 years of age R.J. Barrett for a soon to be 28 year old Zach LaVine (come March).
And I don't think we've gotta worry about a 26-29 3 games below .500 Chicago team catching us within the Standings anymore; those guys either stink or just lack team chemistry.
I am still flabbergasted about this:
The GSW used their #2 pick in the draft from 2020 draft to acquire 5 second round picks. The #2 pick for 5 second rounders holy crap.
And then turned those 5 second rounders into Gary Payton II who was on their roster last season and who they could have resigned.
GS used their #2 pick to bring back a player that was already on their roster and they could have had for free (plus luxury tax).
Barely a peep about how this was such a fail for them? Knicks would have been eviscerated while getting everyone fired? Or at least talked about in this way?
^^ I agree. but the Wiseman situation isn't all that different than last year when Sac traded Bagley arguably for even less. Josh Jackson trey lyles and fewer second rounders
100% agree if this were the Knicks they would be skewered, e.g., we probably got worse press in the KP trade
My own theory is that it starts with NY media itself where they pile on way more than other cities' local press does. SO it seems fair game
And it's exacerbated by national media tolerating a-holes like Reggie Miller and Richard Jefferson who continually bring up their Knicks hate. Every dog has their day, and when the knicks get back to prominence i hope they show these clowns the respect they deserve

I think the issue with resigning GPII was that they had Wiseman's deal on the books (I think I heard he makes $12M next season). The choice was seeing what they had in Wiseman or GPII. I think it's safe to say that GSW saw enough.

Yeah, they were down to signing either Looney or GPII and also seeing what they had in Wiseman. Turned out poorly all around.

That wig wasn't free....
Then he must've been doing business with Danny Ainge.

His value is similar to Josh hart. Glue guy who can fill the gaps, especially on defense.
As for the Jason Williams comp, I don’t get it. They have nothing in common besides being white and wear hand bands.

Silver has it fixed for the Warriors to get #1. Pels have Lakers pick swap I believe so they will be 2 and 3 respectively.
