No one who thinks critically takes analytics as seriously as the media does
People who think critically understand and properly apply analytics.
The FIRST thing a statistician or trained analyst would tell you is small sample size is not only worthless, it's often misleading.
There is NOTHING wrong with tracking +/- for a game to add to a greater whole
There is EVERYTHING wrong with trying to prove OR dismiss the value of +/- based on one game.
+/- has value in the macro, not the micro, which is universally true of almost any statistical measure.
Getting pretty windy in here!
Light summer breeze at best.
This would be so wild if it happened, and then if Harden signs into cap space, Rockets should try to trade for Ebiib

Cause he wants to win so badly.

Could say the same of Lillard. Or Kawhi and George if they keep running it back in LA.
Lebron could've asked for a trade each of the last two years like all the Nets guys did.
It’s so wierd how everywhere’s Kyrie goes he loses.
I get Lillard is a great offensive talent and has hit some legendary clutch shots.... but something ain't right in Portland.
And apparently Cam Reddish isn't the cure.
Look at the box score...

Knox had a DNP ??? Is that what your referring to ???lol
Knicks big two makes me wonder if doing the off season team doesn't bring in a vet stretch 4/5 like Danilo or Horford to take Obis spot Team has everything else but a back up 4 with size, who can play some defense, and stretch the floor Perhaps an inexpensive acquisition to add versality to the bench. A better version of Taj. Not saying get rid of Obi just to get rid of him. But let's say we draft a Kris Murray or an other 4, you then bring in a vet for now, and trade Obi for future draft picks or for that player. Maybe Harrison Barnes

That they want Grant starting at wing and the experiment with Cam at SG didn’t really translate into wins so the moved him to the bends so he can play SF for more minutes?

Perhaps. One can argue Obi himself has been that stretch 4 as his 3 point shooting has improved this year though it’s certainly dipped recently. They can trade him this summer or simply wait February 2024 trade deadline. Obi wants to be here they might even be able to give him a 1-2 year extension at reasonable money

I can certainly see that and hope for that

I was at the game last night. I know its only warm ups but Obi was hitting every 3 pt attempt, nothing but net. His shot is def. improved.
