Ah ... spelling

Premier, not premiere

Don't be that guy.

Which guy?

Got no issue with the guy who corrects a spelling error.

But the guy who abandons ship when relevant questions about his conspiracy theory are raised?

Yeah, don't be that guy.

UK has a few of those guys.

Do you have a point these days?

Yes.

Why did the NBA let the Lakers miss the play-in by 1 GAME last season?

Why did the NBA let the Lakers drop to the 7th seed play-in tournament by losing a 3-WAY TIE-BREAKER the season before that?

Why didn't the NBA intervene sooner when it appeared early in the season the Lakers were in significant danger of being a bad team? Why react so late and leave a more conspicuous trail l of breadcrumbs for the conspiracy-minded?

Considered together, the NBA's actions and lack of actions for three seasons in a row is curious and raises questions if the premise is the NBA is a multi-billion dollar business willing to cheat other teams to help its premiere franchise (who hasn't been past the first round since 2020) be an play-in team.

These are all, relevant, on-topic questions regarding whether the NBA manipulates games to serve the Lakers interest.

That isn't trolling. My questions being answered with correction of the spelling of "premiere." THAT's trolling.

Not funny, not sarcastic enough to make it witty, no nothing going on.

Martin, I'm not really invested in what you personally find funny or witty enough.

You have already communicated to me that you operate in a very limited lane. Fair enough. You don't want to speculate outside of your lane. Fair enough. You like things that are proven or in that space. Fair enough. You like hindsight. Fair enough. You don't engage on things that you need to really put some opinion into. Fair enough.

Basically my read of that what you're saying it I don't put aside facts, recent history, and logic to consider speculation that is contradicted by those things, and that's fair.

Why would I engage someone like that? It's a waste of both of our times.

Again, that's your call. I'm not going to stop responding to your's and other's conspiracy theories because you'd rather type this out over and over again rather than make the argument why the NBA is corrupt.

And my personal opinion is you don't because you can't.

Is this puppy-dogging around your thing? Cause I don't get it and it's a waste

I don't know what puppy-dogging is so I couldn't tell you if it's my thing. What I CAN tell you is I genuinely believe I contribute factual and logical context to certain types of discussions and others who at least equal YOU seem to understand and appreciate it.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, and I'll keep saying it. Ir's your house. If you need to like me for me to keep posting here, that's your call and I 100% respect that. You wield the ban hammer, I don't, and that's cool.

But I'd also I'd suggests in a forum that tolerates posts from guys like Briggs, Caseload (after loses) and NYMentality, it seems this has become somewhat personal for you.

But again, you're allowed.

You are trolling around. If you can't see that and the manor and timing and thread in which you are posting, find a new home to post about Knicks.

I'm done explaining.

I'll say again. My questions surrounding the Lakers the last 3 seasons isn't trolling.

My posts in the 'Dallas pick watch' thread on whether the draft lottery is genuine or manipulated isn't trolling.

Yes, I responded to a troll in kind above. Guilty.

But if you're suggesting to everyone posting logical, factual, reasoned arguments and questions regarding theories I didn't raise and inviting discourse on the topic is "trolling" then the ball's in your court.

Done. There is a level of reasonableness here and you aren't even trying.

I'm done wasting time.

Thanks Martin!! Guy is a bit of a smug twat

I don't know which shocked me more - that the Kings traded away Haliburton, or that it's worked out so well for them!!!

How are the kings winning without the GOAT Halliburton?

The Celtics are shellacking the Bucks.

We’re better than the Celtics.

We’re also better than the Bucks. Transitive property, bitches.

I heard of makeup calls during the game but over the rest of the season? These refs made Austin Reaves look like a superstar by giving him more free throws than FG attempts.

NBA league office did not vote and get clearance on this!!! What is going oonnnnn?!?!

The league wants the lakers in the playin

Why would they do that?

The lakers are the top franchise in the league and play in the top 2 market in the league and feature 2 top players in the league and the number one scorer of all time

Ummm, okay.

So why did the NBA let the Lakers miss the play-in by 1 GAME last season?

Whoa! Come on PHilC, once go “oh, my bad!”…….
Also, why does Stearn and Silver so hate the knicks? If in no. 1 market, would then not be a ratings draw too?

God you are obsessed with me.

Not really. You post a lot.
I do too.
I agree with some.
When I don't, its discussed.
But you post a lot, and much is inaccurate. WE all make mistakes.
When corrected, many here own up to it. Its not hard.
You don't. Often you double down with arrogance.

Which makes you obsessed with him. Own up to it :)

And you with I?

LOL, naw, to me true obsession would be if I attempted to dispel all inaccuracies.
Not enough time in the day.

Hey I called Halliburton the GOAT and not a “fake wannabe all-star.” Respek

Is it too late to sign a insurance PF with Randall hurt ? Someone who can be active for the playoffs ?

I don’t know, but imagine Melo stepping onto the floor in the first game at the Garden? Would be nuts.

Would be nuts for a host of reasons. Give me a PF that played this year and is in more game ready. Or a great G leaguer who can score a little

Nalod @ 4/1/2023 9:53 AM
cavs are coming with Jared Allen and Mobley. Jules on the parameter would have pulled out mobley some.
Mobley is long. Obi is ok here but he has to stay out of foul trouble. We go small we ok with second unit.
We finished well last night with Obi and RJ on the bench.
For all of RJ’s bad looks the end result was a win. I’ll take a bad RJ game and a win then a good RJ game and loss.
Back on topic, Jared and Mobley will be a problem for us. I use IHart and Sims at times on second unit if we need to counter a big line up.

As long as it's not a player that was waived by another team after March 1st, I believe we can sign guys until April 9th.

New CBA deal. 7 years starting next season. Supposedly has a clause regarding possible in season tournament
LivingLegend @ 4/1/2023 2:20 PM
In season tournament really sounds like a turd to me.

A few things I’d like to see are….

- a few less days at all star break - hate being in middle of winter with no games going on
- trade deadline ending right after all-star break so while there are no games we at least have a bunch of rumors going on
- Brooklyn Swamp Dragons tossed from league
- Knicks retroactively awarded 1st pick in 23 draft
