I still think 65 games is a little too soft. And only the big time players care about those awards at the end of the season. I'd fine teams and threaten to take away picks if a player is sitting out games when he is healthy enough to play.
Curse Popovich forever for starting this load management crap!

You should be Tim Donaghy’s spokesperson
Nice deflecton. you sound like the Q-non of NBA fans. Donaghy is a convicted felon who lost it all. everything. You went to law school? Hofstra Law, right? I don't know if you go a degree, passed the Bar, or dropped out after week. But you took the LSATS and got in? That must show you have some level of comprehensive and cognitive ability. Please use it. Seems very inconsistent when you indict all refs as Donaghy.

I think they are factoring in legit injuries as part of the 65 game minimum. Teams can still do it, but players won't get awards and max deals as part of it. Players play.

is there anyone left on the nets to hate?
The Oligarch is gone. Deron is gone. KG is gone. Pierce is gone. KP is gone. Harden is gone. Nobody really hated Nash, did they?
What if we traded IQ and RJ for Bridges. I know RJ is not a crowd favorite, but IQ is. If IQ is there, do you still hate the Nets? Say knicks are winning and we happy. Still hate nets?

Hate is a strong word for the Newark Nets, but the dislike is there

I mean does anyone really care what players get awards at the end of the year - I could give a crap….sincerely that’s never been something I thought mattered.
Even all the hand ringing over Brunson/Randle over the all-star selections —- who cares about the damn all star game.
So league puts in 65 game requirement and you’ll immediately have guys playing 1 minute and subbing out to meet their requirement to win awards that are often a popularity contest.
Jo kid is a GREAT player I don’t need a trophy to tell me that.
The guys who have incentives built into their contracts care. [/quote
You don’t say.

Problem is teams would simply stop saying healthy DNP and start faking injuries a la Ben Simmons with his chronic “knee soreness.” You can get doctors to sign anything saying there’s a soft tissue injury

I mean, if you're going to act daft about something with an obvious answer, don't be surprised when you get the obvious answer...change to All NBA teams is more so for the players than it is the fans, and why it came up in the CBA.
I like it from the fan side, seems like more deserving players will get their accolades instead of Rudy Gobert fast tracked into one of the All NBA C spots. You don't care - that's fine, good talk. Moving on.

Svi has been killing it the past few games. Did we make a mistake. 😱

Svi is an NBA player on a team that is decimated by injuries and tanking. He is not trash, and NBA players can do this when games are not meaningful. Did svi make a mistake? I don't think svi did.

It depends on how we lose. If it's a competitive back and fourth battle as expected and we go on to lose in 6 or 7 tough games, I can't call the season a total failure. But if we get annihilated like we did against the Hawks and go home in a sweep or 5 games, it's a failure if we're being honest.
Randle's health also a factor.

Free Svi! He has a nice shot. He should be in an NBA rotation. Maybe he is better than Reddish?!

Not for nothing but I think this type of thing for youth in USA would be a very good thing
