Guys are clowns not professionals. Yes they’re media but that doesn’t give free license to be an idiot, agitator without consequences.
Jets had a similar issue with Manish Mehta (sp?).

Ja should just become an outward facing political Republican and get an NRA endorsement and then he can feel free with wear an AK-47 lapel to his job every day and have his Xmas cards with his whole family flashing guns and it would be TOTALLY acceptable.
This is the fucked up world we live in.
Not for nothing, and I know it is apples and oranges, but I'd rather have Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, 4 first round picks and and extra $25M to spend on other players rather than a 35yo (next month) Durant who will be making $48M, $51M, $55M over next 3 years.
Yikes.

Hell yes! Nets were fortunate to find suckers I mean buyers for KD and Kyrie. They have a future now.
^^^. Suns owner got his money from Daddy and then pulls the strings for a superstar
Sound familiar? Dolan and Melo say hi!
Celtics are having their way with the Sixers.
We were an ankle sprain away from the muthafuckin’ NBA finals.

i think this is true. Game 1 vincent and martin played out of their minds. the whole series we never had a guy from the second unit really play to par let alone out of their minds
if we had one great game from IQ, Obi or Hart it's a different situation

On the other hand, if we have Durant we get past the Heat. The question at this point is( I never thought I would say this) is he enough to make us a Championship contender
Odds and ends:
* Nets got amazing value out of Kyrie & Durant. Somehow, in spite of injuries and odd meltdowns and a few years of their prime melted away, they got back practically all the value they gave up to get them. Good for them. The team is far less dislikable.
* Ja - WTF... it's hard to watch a guy literally piss away millions. The first suspension likely cost him the all-NBA team berth that would have locked in a supermax deal. And I think a long suspension is likely to start next season, likely enough to disqualify him from the games played needed for one of those awards even if he were to play lights out and be a choir boy.
* Sixers - I don't know if that team can win with Embiid - fake MVP. It's not that different from Randle, to be honest. Big numbers in the regular season... but somehow hobbled or out of sync once the playoffs roll around. Different circumstances yes, but the outcome is similar.
* Gabe Vincent would be a nice FA target for the Knicks or any number of teams, including the Cavs. Weaken the enemy and pick up a guy who plays his heart out. On the other hand - does he play like a beast because it's a contract year? Will he still play as relentlessly once he gets a big boy contract? (I don't personally think we need him - we have Quickley/Grimes in that "hungry for the big contract" category)
When stars fail, and they do, they get vilified.
Embiid and Harden.
Durant, CP3 but not Booker.
KAWHI and PG13.
Trae Young and Dejaunte.
Siakim not starry enough?
Lillard gets a pass because?
No on Bucks? All on Bud?
Randle.
Great talk show banter.
Nets showed how to open a window then bail on it and get it back. Very savvy. Covid and the Harden with Simmons trade did them in.

I see this a bit different. Journalists need access. And the FO should want fans to have that kind of access.
This is no different than any press/media dynamic out there.

They have access all year long but one more day as everyone is leaving is an affront to them?
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't post online when I'm not getting my way at work with my clients. I just, you know, schedule a meeting with them to discuss stuff and keep at it when they don't respond.
It's a disgrace to me that those guys suck at their job so much they need to leave a trail of complaints highlighting their own ineptitude at making a better relationship with players and team FO.

The issue is that this kind of behavior feeds into the crappy coverage. I don't see the big issue as fan. But these guys are paid to write. They're going to get something out there regardless. The more you bar them, the more articles you're going to get fueled by speculation and unnamed sources. You want to limit interview times and access, that's understandable. To completely bar journalists is just bad procedure.

I agree 100% on access but the journalists need to be professionals. some of these guys are not. they're questions are like "Are you still beating your wife". It's fine to ask tough questions, expected. But they go beyond that
Stick to reporting. The focus should be on the players and the game. That said, some of these reporters are more interested in provoking and agitating than in getting and reporting the news. Well they provoked a response and they didn't like it. It's not like the Knicks are saying they're not responding to the press; they're just not responding to jerks

And that's OK and why they sitting on the sideline.
IMHO Fred Katz is doing much better work and has the same access. Fred creates his own access IMO

crazy value for KD and Kyrie. I guess there are suckers out there. Bridges - boy we should have shot our shot for him, he alone is worth 3 picks.
Ja - I've said it multiple times, we won the Zion/Ja draft with RJ. Now just to get RJ to reach that next level that he has in him. RJ could easily be Jaylen Brown-level. He needs to train with more focus.
Sixers - way to crash and burn and choke away several close out games. Makes me feel better about our losses. Wow. And Harden defines Lollygagging and Embiid is not a leader like Brunson is.
Vincent plays like a beast because Spo demands it of his players. Play hard or don't play and get lost. Iron Will that Spo often talks about.
Our motto should be "come out as champions or don't come out at all" - it's a different philosophy - Thibs runs guys into the ground and doesn't allow the next men in to play at their best either. Spo - his approach is everyone is going to give their best in their minutes played and play at 100, or do not play. Our guys are all very likable - but not Iron Willed to that Heat level.

Embiid didn't go out a warrior, harden played indiffertent
CP3 was hurt, as usual. Durant and Booker balled out. No shame there.
Kawhi - hurt again, and same with PG 13
Trae - he did what he could. No one cares about Murray. Fake Allstar
Siakam is not top 25 player
Lillard is by himself and old and injured.
Bucks- Giannis didn't hit his free throws and was injured. Bud was the fall guy.
Randle was injured / sucked. Plus played terrible D, blew rotations, and seemed not to care.
I would love to see Ben Simmons on the Heat.
Kwame went nuclear on Jah.

Reports that if the gun video is for real he could be suspended half the season.
Can only imgaine the pro gun lobby coming to his defense that his 2nd amendment rights are being violated.
Its not. Its his employment contract with the team and league. Jah can have a freaking armory if legal.
Just can't be waiving it as a public personality in the business he voluntarily is employed by.
