Randle was not looking for $36M-$40M for 7-10 years.

Judge is worth big money but you have to question if ANY player is truly worth that much for that long. Especially if he continues to get shut down by Cleveland. Especially in NY.

Yankees fans booing Judge….so classy.

Dumbest move I have ever seen.

Players understand they are booing his play, not the human soul?
Fans pay money and want to win.
This yankee team is messing with peoples heads given the early success.
Always better to finish strong then start strong.

Nah, the boo-ers are dirtbags.

NY Fans turn quick. They do not like to lose. Will be excused as "fans who know the game"
I was at Mets first playoff game. Met fans did the same with Max after his playoff dud.

Aren’t you the same guy who is hyperventilating about anyone criticizing Randle’s play and contract?

These aren’t the real Yankees fans like me who grew up in the bleachers in the 80’s with 0 playoff appearances until 1995. These are the rich clown yankee fans who can pay big bucks for playoff tickets

Hey I was in those bleachers razzing Brett Butler et al!

Of course it’s not all fans. But it is an unfortunate trend of spoiled, dumb negativity we see everywhere.

The clowns that booed Judge yesterday have zero right to celebrate his home run tonight.

Yes, depending on the content.

But did they perhaps bring on that 9th inning karma?

Nalod @ 10/16/2022 10:49 AM
The bullpen as described by Costas is decimated by injuries.
Can’t go all the way with that which got you there and then its gone. Story of the first half.
Story of the second.
Rays and Bluedays got taken by hot teams. They themselves could not sustain.

when knicks build a big lead then lost it we rarely if ever give much cred to the lead. Its that its blown becomes the fans emotional focus. Here we are with Yankees. Bader is actually performing and Montgomery became erratic.
Cashman made the right move although it might not be enough nor the health of its staff did not materialize soon enough.

Chapman was Cashmans genius move but now his long term deal is biting yanks in the ass. The danger of cash rich teams outbidding others. Glaybor is a very good player but has not fulfilled his potential.

Dodgers massive payroll could not get it done.

Winning is hard.

If we go by Randle math judge should get a $2bn extension

KnickDanger @ 10/19/2022 12:20 AM
Well I’m good with Yankees fans letting Josh “Rock the Baby” Naylor have it for being a bush league punk. Over the top celebrations are always a bad look, but when you’re losing….

Did Judge kiss the yankee uni for the camera as a sign he is staying or saying good bye?

He’s still a Yankee until the season is over, and the season ain’t over. Why worry about it now? On to the next round of the playoffs!

IF judge leaves the Yankees could instead sign a combo of Xander Boegaerts, Daniel Vogelbach and correct a mistake a they made last offseason and bring back Gary. Vogelbach is a lefty powerhitter he would rake in yankee stadium. Mets have a club option and may not pick it up after getting eliminated early

And/or sign Degrom. Upgrade the starting pitching to compensate for diminished offense

It was all the rage on social media and other outlets as "A sign". Im not worried at all. Im not a big baseball fan and barley know who is who in the league.
I'll follow whats going on via scores and keep up with it casually. Was with friends the other night when Astros and Marinars went 6.5 hours. We flipped between 'Bama/Vols game and that miserable 18 inning no scoring contest. one has to be a purist to enjoy a true pitching/defense masterpiece. Im not that viewer.

I don't expect much from Yankees vs. Astros so I'll survive.

Aaron Judge season was a lot of fun and I hope he does return. But if not, Im ok if he goes to San Fran Giants. I dont' want him in Boston. Thats not cool.
Also fun was Yankee/Met rivalry. Its why I hope for Knicks/Nets to play meaningful games. They have to have meaning beyond geographical proximity.

I guess no one else should be allowed to win mvp ever again because Ohtani pitches

It’s not even a close argument. Judge is at the top in all of the important categories and he steals bases and he’s a gold glove calibre fielder. Ohtani being top ten in all categories is not enough and Judge has the WAR. He’s doing all of this as pitchers try to pitch around him. That’s close to a triple crown as pitchers try to pitch around him.

The Yankees would probably be a wild card team or non-playoff team without him.

I agree the Yankees wouldn’t even make the playoffs without judge. Cashman sucks

Bader made cashman look good this series.
You ok with that? or would you rather Yanks lose so "cashman sucks" makes you look intelligent?
