Where are these fouls they keep calling on Mitch
EwingsGlass @ 11/27/2022 8:40 PM
JB not clutch at all.

He made a couple nice plays down the stretch. Cam should have taken a 3 on that last possession

He played darn good. I think the coach could ve been more creative at the end— perhaps starting the ball w Brunson drawing the defense and finding an open shooter or lobbying

In the remaining 8 minutes of the game .. Cam, Barrett, and Randle only took one shot.
PG Brunson's ball-hogging took all the rest of the shots going down the stretch for the Knicks, plus Brunson played the entire 4th quarter.
In the remaining 5 minutes of the game every player in the Grizz lineup scored.

They do a very good job of hiding Morant on defense

His ball hogging got us in a position to win the game after being down by as much as 9 in the 4th qtr. I agree he should not have been taking the shots on last two possessions but overall he had a good game

Great player. Knicks just need another guy like him so things aren’t so predictable.

are folks giving JB grief for taking over? Dude was money for us. 30 points. Solid shooting. I want the ball in his hands at the end of a close game. I did think he went to the well 1 too many times at the end.

Tough loss- but we're right there with a really great team. We just need some guys like RJ and Randle to start hitting shots at a better clip, and we need the group to do better on D. I mean we can point to the missed shot at the end, but we gave up too many easy shots in close, too many offensive boards.

JB also put up 17 in the 4th quarter!

Agree, this is why Brunson was brought to NY. Brunson looked like he lost half a step by the end of the game. Didnt have enough burst to get by those defenders. No regrets that JB took the last shot.

Mitch looked like vintage Mitch tonite. Did all the the things on his callling card.

Sorry, but Grimes should be a backup PG. He might be the fastest player on the team, and that will create problems at the point. He doesnt get buckets like Quickley.

Nalod @ 11/27/2022 10:03 PM
Close game. So easy to second guess isn't it? Gee, "let Cam shoot it cuz even though he been out a few weeks he did hit that shot game one!".

C'mon, really?
Brunson shot us back into the game and he had good looks. "Not clutch". We really indict him after that game? really?
Love the RJ game. Kept it tight and gets to the line. That shot comes back he will be golden.
Randle? Good passing! See he got out on fast break!!!!
Mitch is back.
We got a good on in Brunson. Went toe to to with Jah in the 4th.
Garden rocked. Great game to watch. Fun game!

Or ja Morant has better defenders and 2 way athletes than the Knicks.

Griz only have 1 player to hide on defense. And they have other players who are more consistent and have great chemistry together.

Try hiding 3 players (JB, RJ, Randle)

Stop being a dipshit bro and start acting like a Knicks fan who actually pays attention to the game and doesn’t need to make shit up jfc

Whenever I say I'm done with the Knicks, I realize that the team saves me thousands of dollars from seeing a Dominatrix. So it's all good

I've realized that RJ and Randall should wear leather every game

Fun and entertaining game and well played by both teams. Brunson did everything but win the game. That's the second straight game he couldn't hit that last shot but honestly there is nobody else on this team I want taking that shot. I think Brunson will start hitting those shots as the season goes on so it will all balance out. He's been tremendous!

It's a make or miss league but our margin for error is razor thin. We have too many lapses especially on defense. We cannot give up 127 points on 48% shooting and 16 offensive rebounds. We do not have the talent to overcome this. But the Grizzlies credit. That's a good team on the borderline of being a title contender imo. Morant, even thought I dislike him, is an elite player. He finished with 27/10/14 but I thought we did a decent job. Especially Grimes! I was surprised he wasn't brought back in the fourth to check him. Not sure it would have made much difference as a player like Morant just turns it up in the fourth and the zebras wouldn't allow physical defense. Adams was also huge for them with the offensive rebounds. We just don't have that big body to match up with him. Kind of funny when RJ wouldn't give him the ball and kind of shoved his arm. Like out of all players to do that, RJ picks on the biggest and probably the baddest dude in the league. Adams is like Khal Drogo and Roman Reigns LOL.

So tough loss but not a killer imho. I saw some good signs, especially from the guys coming back. Robinson looked more active and was able to play 30 plus minutes and had 5 blocks. Reddish had an impact defensively and made some timely shots and passes. Rose also looked more active and hit some floaters.

RJ bounced back and took good shots which I think has become a big key for him. Randle had the typical Randle game. Stats wise it looked like he had a strong game and he honestly was not bad but he still has too many mental lapses and laziness on defense and they come at the worst moments. Obi was awful. Air balled on threes, committed some dumb turnovers and got his butt handed to him on defense. I like Obi but he's another one in a slump right now and needs to pick it up.

How can anyone be expected to compete when they get fouls called for them constantly but are also allowed to do this. How does 3 refs not call this?
