With Cade out for the season, I think its possible to make a move here. Clearly Detroit doesn't need to improve so much as add value. Not sure including Bags assists their timing. Bogs/Fournier is a bit of a push. Fournier is younger but plays much worse defense. Good for tanking, particularly where they get their pick back. Burks is a known quantity here. Plug and play. Bags is a young PF with a bit of baggage. Will create a bit of a positional battle for Toppin, but I would ease Toppin back from that fracture.
Detroit doesn't really need more guards. But they could give Cam a little runway to see if he takes off. If I am Detroit, I am dropping Bags and Rose from the deal. If I am NYK, I am not sure I want to give up the first though without the younger player (Bags 23) coming back. How committed is Detroit to Bogs and Bags?
Other trades to clear salary don't really do much for us once the higher salary kicks in for Barrett. Adds a ton of 3 pt shooting in one move.
Is this your own trade or a trade rumor?
Just curious cause I see this all the time where fans come up with different trade scenarios. I’ve never responded to any of them unless it was an actual rumor or inside information.
I know thibs reads our posts, so is that the motivation or just your personal thoughts on how the organization to move forward when the trade deadline approaches.
Also I’m not sure thibs wants more players in a trade. Wouldn’t that create more of the same issues having healthy bodies on the bench with multiple DNPs. Seems like picks in return with a high upside rookie. Keeps the rotations tight, which favors thibs.

I made this up. Trying to figure out a move that switches out Fournier for more useable parts. I actually want DRose on this team. Guy is the ultimate professional. Happy to have him here. But I think this adds a bit of depth in the right places. I think we need to find help at SF and PF with Toppin down. And if Cam is out of the rotation, we need to look outside.
I’d actually want to see if Cam can work things out with Brunson hobbled. Though it sounds like Brunson is gonna try to play through it.
