Not sure how you turn a positive comment on thibs protecting Randle into a negative on thibs. Just said I finally get thibs now. The old accountability comment is dead. This is handled behind closed doors. So I respect that.

I think everybody needs a gold star and some weed. 😂

I literally don't understand what you are typing. No idea what situation you are talking about - last night or the ejection or whatever. You barely ever make sense to me and you doubleback and say the opposite things routinely.

General question: What does holding Randle accountable look like?

Keep in mind please. I use my phone to chat most times. And apple likes to auto correct. Sorry if that sends people into a tale spin. If it sounds crazy it’s a typo 😜

General question: What does holding Randle accountable look like?

What?

This is funny.

I responded to big red when he talked about Randles last shot and how thibs was ok with it.

I said that’s similar to thibs blaming the team for Randles ejection.

Then I clearly said now I understand and disregard my statement that thibs doesn’t hold Randle accountable. I said I understand what thibs is doing and how he’s using the press to talk to Randle and the team.

And behind closed doors he’s probably holding Randle accountable in his own way.

Then you jumped in and asked a specific question on give you an example and I did, based on the original conversation u jumped into.

Maybe you jumping around too much and forgetting some things but I already answered u and even put it in bold. And for the record I never understand why u don’t understand 🤣

Fun game. At times you thought the Knicks would just pull away, didn't expect a nail biter. DeRozan lived at the line thanks in part to more than 1 questionable call, but they knew the scouting report. Appreciated one play RJ was staying with DD, he switches onto Hart who bit on the headfake - RJ immediately signals to Hart to stay grounded on him. Let's see how he does Friday.

Was looking over the box score and surprised to see Lavine with 25 points...those were some quiet points! Thought Vucevic was hurting us more with his 19. Spent the last few seasons wanting to get Zach into a Knicks uni. Cooling on that this year.

Randle was great and set the tone early...again. But the real MVP was Brunson if for no other reason than making EVERYONE forget about that Caruso crossover putting Deuce on the floor.

Can you finish the topic at least sir, in-between your confused state. Whats your way to hold Randle accountable, since you started this question. I gave my specific answer based on the ejection scenario and how Thibs said it's the team to blame. If you agree with Thibs, then that's fine. For arguments sake, lets say you disagree with Thibs and it was Randles fault for being ejected (not his teammates), then how would you hold Randle accountable?

I'm now on the computer in case you want to compare my flip phone post and computer post.

So you got Thibs quote wrong, he did not say that it's Randle's teammates to blame. Go look it up, it's a nothing burger statement.

I am asking you how YOU think Thibs should hold Randle accountable. This ejection quote thing is a non sequester.

to those applauding Caruso, let's see if that works again Friday

I thought it was a little gimmicky with the prime objective being to take away his dribble. Celts have used that trick w M.Smart too.

My suspicion is if we see that Friday we might see some kick it out re-post type stuff and punishing that crap

Jordanna Clark is like intern level writer who works for a low level blog. Why are you getting your info from her?

By now we should all realize that article titles are pure clickbait and you fell for it hook line and sinker.

“When he got the first [technical foul], we have to do a better job of helping him walk away,” the Knicks’ coach said after his team’s 112-99 win over the Kings. “As a team, staff, all of us.”

He followed that up with:

“There are going to be some miss-calls. That’s part of it,” Thibodeau said. “Just keep competing. But when a guy gets frustrated, we got to make sure [to] help. … Just [have] an awareness. Go grab him. It’s a dead ball.”

Get your information from better places and then actually, you know, read the quote.

I have never espoused that Randle needed to be held accountable, especially in this situation, so it's not even necessary.

I keep asking people who spaz out and just reiterate that "Thibs needs to hold Randle accountable" and I just want to know from them how that works.

With the above statement, I don't care if a child wrote that. I agree with that child.

You are correct about getting better sources, but that doesnt negate the discussion. What I would expect Thibs to do, I answered that. Thigs could've said what Randle said about himself. It was a selfish act and Randle knows better.

If you are looking for a general action on how to hold Randle accountable for all of his actions, out burse, etc.....Not even Thibs can answer that.

But if you bring up a scenario like I did (Kings game ejection when he was killing first half), I bolded my answer. What else are you looking for so we can close this topic and move on to the bulls and making the playoffs.

Now thats funny.

Below is a copy and paste of what I said, in the post reply to bigred. I thought that statement put this topic to bed, unless you didn't read this.

This is why I starting saying thibs doesn’t hold Randle accountable. He uses pillow talk and gives a politically correct response with the intention to not throw Randle under the bus. This is an example of my original thought.

Now I’m seeing another side of thibs I didn’t know existed.

For me, I like to hold players accountable. Talk to them and make sure they understand what they did wrong and how to improve on that. I'm going to assume this is done behind closed doors and in the press Thibs will give his best answer without throwing Randle under the bus or cause a divide amoungst the team.

So you disagree with her, no problem. Insults not necessary. I’m sure she has more basketball knowledge than you would ever have. Along with anybody else who wants to call her out. Such a weak move but very telling about you and others.

So I’m assuming you agree with thibs. its the teammates responsibility for Randle being ejected? Gotcha and thanks for joining the discussion. I can always count on the Hofstra police to come lurking.
