To bad we only play the Pistons 4 times.
Panos @ 1/15/2023 7:56 PM
I missed the game. Why did RJ play only 26 mins?
Panos @ 1/15/2023 7:57 PM
Man, we're getting very little scoring from our bench outside of IQ. Like almost 0.

Great win. Monster game by Randle. To me the difference is the lack of heroball in the 4th. I believe that its sinking in, that he doesnt have to try to be the closer every night. Thats not necessary anymore. He has teammates who are either more clutch, or older and better than last season.

I fully expect Randle to have some games this season where he's clutch in crunch time. Believe those numbers will improve, if the pressure he puts on himself to be the hero every night, keeps subsiding.

Randle is an All-Star. Nothin much else to say. To do what he's doing after the season he had and all the boos and to do it here in New York is incredible. This is one of the best redemption seasons of any player. Very proud and happy for him! All he needs is to keep it up and really bring it in the play-in and hopefully playoffs!

I hope the narrative as you speak it becomes more widespread. It is a good story and in the guise of “NEW YORK TOUGH” he told us to STFU, then came back and showed us he was right. He did not ask out.
Im a bit moved that KP all but apologized for his way out and the maturity of that statement as reported in this past week. Fans will be fans and sometimes they boo the level of play, not the players.
I fault Jules for taking it personal. What we dont know is what is the fan banter they can hear on the court, not what aggregate of the arena or what is heard on TV.
For the 100th time, the game was vs Boston and knicks came back to win and RJ hit the buzzer beater! He and the team showed it up!!!
We love that. Instead some fans, not all, whine and complained about “Thumbs down”.
In the end they got him Brunson at a good cost and he doubled down his commitment to make it work on and off the court. few of us if any really understand the pressure these young men work under. Because they are paid a lot of money we think its not all that much to reconcile it. I feel for the Kevin Knox’s who are so close yet find it that hard to make the next step. They will be ok but to work so hard and be that close has to be mind fuck.
