R.J. Barrett = 22 years young.
Quentin Grimes = 22 years young.
Deuce McBride = 22 years young.
Immanuel Quickley = 23 years young.
Mitchell Robinson = 24 years young.
Jericho Sims = 24 years young.
Obi Toppin = 24 years young.
This pretty much ends the stigma of coach Thibs not playing younger kids (and man oh man is it becoming fun to watch these home grown Knicks {all} develop alongside of one another).
Jalen Brunson @ 26 years old and Julius Randle @ 28 years old are both the (perfect) veteran leaders @ PG/PF that'll continue to lead these kids into NBA emergence (and I'm just anxious to see which one's develop into and become NBA All-Star talents (moving forward

I think that our NY Knicks future could currently be brighter, than ever before.
They aren’t all elite talents but it’s a nice group. Wondering if there’s another level for Quickley to reach. He seems to be much better at creating his own shot this year, and the defense is elite. There’s talk of the Suns targeting him (Among others) to be Chris Paul’s eventual replacement as far as a starting guard alongside Booker. With his 2-way ability I think his talent is being viewed greater around the league and the Knicks better lock him up this summer to continue developing. The comp isn’t perfect but can’t rule out him becoming a VanVleet level combo guard eventually. FVV was 24 years old his 3rd year and coming off the bench and his numbers were very similar to Quickley now.
I might've crossed the line last year while claiming IQ has Steph Curry like shooting potential, but I couldn't help it; I absolutely 💙this kid.
I don't even want to entertain the idea of trading away Immanuel Quickley because I hope he's here long-term in Orange and Blue.
He's absolutely fearless which is what I appreciate about him the most and you're right about his DEFENSE; He's becoming a pesky/scrapped Defender and it's been fun to watch.

Grimes is still shooting better than Quickley at 3. I think IQ needs to stay on the bench unless more moves are made to bolster the reserves.

That's true, but IQ's drives collapses the defense, gives defenders more of a headache. At this point in their careers, IQ has more in the toolbox to go against starting SGs, and the defense doesnt suffer.
Would love to see Grimes at PG and IQ at SG for a quarter. Have to give Thibs credit for sticking with IQ at PG. But he's a better bucket getter than Grimes right now.
Grimes is showing that maybe he's ready for the same opportunity that Thibs gave Quick to run the offense.
In the meantime, it gives Quickley a chance to push the envelope as a scorer.

It’s just kind of an epiphany how fragile the ecosystem of a team is. We are 2 FA signings removed from a legitimate tank. We also could be 1 trade or FA signing away from being a contender. We are sort of at the tipping point…..that and I just wanted to bust mentality’s balls

that's the league right now... Knicks are 7th with a young team and that's pretty good. Coach is playing the kids. Randle is a MIP and 2x all star under Thibs, we signed a big FA, we have a bunch of extra pics. Just sit back and watch the process

Brunson and IQ play PG opposite each other with IQ doing SG when on court together.
Bench would be brutal when you need to sit both.
The next piece that is acquired, either through trade or draft has, to be a piece that will allow us to compete with the elite. This team reminds me of the 2004 Pistons led by Rasheed Wallace.

If we stuck with Frank for 4 years. He is 24 years old. LOL
I'll go with the coaches and FO see something in Deuce that warrants continued opportunity. He was a prospect coming out of college and that he is in the rotation in year two says a lot.
Like most years im not expecting much come trade deadline but a tweek.

That’s exactly the blueprint. Nail draft picks and acquire mid-tier free agents who can develop here. Who will our Rasheed Wallace be in 1-2 years? Trey? Kawahi?

I'm not willing to support our Front Office trading any of these homegrown Knicks away.
Because it's been really fun this year while watching all 7 develop alongside of one of the NBA's most dynamic/dominant duo's @ PG/PF in Jalen Brunson/Julius Randle (All-Stars X2).
My ultimate (fan goal) is to watch our Front Office trade away the likes of Evan Fournier/Derrick Rose + a lot of our draft capital in order to add fire power to this current roster.
