Knicks dont know what to do offensively
Unacceptable loss.
Down 8 3:00 left?
Blown 12 point lead because of a 13-0 3rd Q 76ers run and we couldn't recover?
What a crap loss see you guys tomorrow.
Knicks getting dominated by the zone defense
I wonder if Hart plays PF (thibs hinted he can) and Toppin is the odd man out. Toppin brings nothing to the rotation right now. He’s an average open 3pt shooter and his activity off the ball has strangely evaporated this season. His chemistry with Quickley is gone as well. I’d rather just have a stretch 4 or play a wing there. Deuce at least you know you’re getting consistency on defense. Toppin you get no consistency on either side of the ball.

You sure do bail a lot before the game is over.

Because the game was over the moment we were up 12 and fell down 1 because of an unacceptable 13-0 76ers run in the 3rd. That run knocked us out TKO.
Brunson not happy with the refs
Just not smart basketball. Can’t continually leave Maxey open.
The three lefty lineup just isn’t going to work. Lack of ball movement and no offense kills this team too many times. Not going to beat a zone unless you have IQ out there instead of RJ.
Randle great game, but usual bonehead back to back turnovers when the game on the line. Just seems to happen every close game.
Some may get upset at the mention of Randle's turnovers in the 4th, but it is what it is. Great 3 quarters by Randle. But it feels like cheering for a race car driver who leads until the last couple of laps. You want to see them finish the job.
Grimes found other ways to contribute, even though his shot was off again. Believe there is a better case for Hart at the 2 than the 3. RJ is starting to show his closing skills again.
Too mercenary for me.. at least on a regular basis.

Team without Mitch, and Hart did good. Plus with RJ in another funk. We are a good team
Just got home. Is there anything about 5his game worth watching or should I just tune into the Last of Us?
Nevermind. I'll catch Killer Cam's debut in Portland.
Ahhh coming down from the sugar high. Sixers a better team. At home. Ahead in the standings. We’re still in progress.

A break down of the Fourth for you.
With 8:28 left we were down by One.
From there we had:
Miss by RJ 8:15
Miss by IQ 8:12
Maxey three
Niang three
Brunson TO 7:06
Offensive Rebound for Sixers followed by foul by RJ
ALL with Randle off the court.
Then with Randle back we had:
Miss by JB 4:20
Miss by Grimes 3:41
Miss by RJ 1:53
TO by Sims 1:21
Miss by RJ :56
JB shot blocked :19
A break down of Randle's 7 minute 4th.
Randle hit a turnaround at the 6 minute mark.
Randle's first turnover resulted in a three by Niang with 5:17 to go.
Randle's second turnover resulted in a turnover by Sixers.
Randle had an offensive rebound that got Grimes and open look for three which he missed around the 4 minute mark.
Randle swung the ball to RJ for a three that he made at the 3 minute mark.
Randle had another assist to JB at the 2 minute mark.
Total of 3 rebounds in the 7 minutes.
So your analogy of race car driver who is losing the race seems to by centered around your usual focus of Randle. Which leaves out the team aspect and what really happened and only focuses on your need to make Randle the scapegoat. HOWEVER, Randle like RJ and JB need to let the game come to them when closing games out. Feel they all feel like they have to do something in every touch.
Some further insight on why we may have lost the game. Our bench was outscored 42 to 21
Struggles began when Sixers went to Zone
None of our guards were able to stop Maxey from scoring.

I thought the Knicks played really well even with the loss. First half was excellent.

They lost to a better team. A contender. Can’t really fault that. I’m glad we are at the point where there’s no moral victories and everyone is salty at this loss. Still don’t have Mitch who makes a difference in a game like this. And hart. Can’t wait until this team is whole.
The starter lineup failed us in the 4th quarter (15-27) showing poor offense and no-defense.
The same starter lineup gave us a 36-28 first quarter lead, but at the end of the day ....
For Embiid we do need MitchRob to even things up, we also need team-defense while he's injured.
The bench lineup is having problems with Barrett being the first option on offense.
Cam Reddish did defend Maxey & Harris well our last win in Philly

A combo forward is the teams biggest need. A forward that can share the court and back up Randle.
Maxey just reminding everyone on UK that if you think IQ is a better version of him, you are officially in the smoking crack club.
We're still at least 1 piece away from being able to go toe to toe with the likes of Philly. 7 game series, do we win 1? Assuming their guys are not injured, which with Harden and Embid are big question marks.
I guess this is the state of 'mid'.

Didnt Maxey have a bad game against us the previous game, or is that the crack talking? Its really not about how Quickley compares to a guy with the same haircut. Quickley has shown he can play the 1,2,or 3 spot. Not many players can do that. He's valuable as a player or trade chip.
Im more concerned with Randle choking again in the 4th. Tired of the excuses.
This game showed us the difference between an elite tier team and an average mid tier team. We can stay with these teams if our best players play great for most of the game but in the fourth quarter these type of teams turn it up a notch that we do not have and they pull away. It's a fact we are missing that key piece and Josh Hart isn't it.
Loved how Brunson started the game with 20 in the first quarter. He took the bull by the horns and was super aggressive. Sixers simply cannot guard him one on one but they made a few adjustments with that zone which limited the iso's and drives. Randle was also super aggressive. Sixers cannot guard him one on one either but that zone and some no calls frustrated him in the fourth (what else is new?). Thibs needs to be better with that zone!
Mixed bag again from RJ. I liked how he played in that second quarter as the go-to guy but once again had some costly dumb turnovers including that killer inbound pass that ended with a Maxey three. His defense continues to be poor too. He just dies on every screen and cannot keep whoever he is guarding infront of him. There was one play where Maxey drove baseline right by him for a layup with no trouble and that should never happen. Right now RJ's motor and effort on defense is unacceptable!
But give the Sixers credit. They have as good a chance as anyone to come out of the East. Embiid is an elite player and the type you trade three unprotected picks for. He is just unguardable. Too big, too skilled, too smart. Sims tried his best but the reach in fouls were annoying. Hopefully he learns.
