Here's a pretty fascinating stat board.
Apparently Brunson and Randle are among the top 10 NBA players double-teamed in the entire league (I'm sure there as some minimum games/mins played qualifiers).
The criteria is those double-teamed the most and not who's most effective when double-teamed, but among the top 10 of most frequently double-teamed, Brunson falls right among the brand name players on the list and Randle is actually second to Giannis in terms of team points scored per a double-team possession.
The glass half full takeaway might be 'man, if the Knicks were getting above average and efficiency from the wings'...
"double Brunson/Randle, make RJ beat you"
I just googled "scouting report for beating the Knicks"

Thing is, Knicks are doing as well as the Bucks, Sixers, Grizzlies and others even when they execute that gameplan.

So the best thing we can do is to get a whisperer for RJ. Steve Nash as an offensive coordinator ( or even an assistant coach)would be sweet. One can only dream. Please make it happen Rose.
I mean I could tell he Julius was getting double teamed a lot but I never realized he was getting double covered, like that.
Just goes to show how Randle takes all of the pressure off his teammates by putting all the pressure of playing in NYC on himself.

Anything in the scouting report about zone defence? Almost every team throws the zone at us at some point. Most times we have those scoring droughts the other team is in zone

RJ is pretty accurate in the midrange, why doesn’t he try that more instead of shooting the 3 at a low percentage?

38% from 3-10ft, 30% from 10-16ft, 18% on long 2s. 32% from 3pt land.
He sucks from everywhere except directly at the rim.
Is there a stat for how many times Mike Breen has said ‘Barrett 3 pointer, won’t go”?

Never not surprised when I see stuff like this...

https://www.nba.com/stats/players/usage?...
That list doesn’t really tell the full story.
Consider this: Teams generally double the player with the ball the most. Players with the highest usage, tend to get doubled more.
Now, take a look at usage leaders. Knicks are getting double at a higher rate than their usage would suggest.
One thought is that the iso offensive scheme lends itself to double teams. Another is the “make someone else beat me”
I think comparing usage with amount of doubles is helpful. Probably need to adjust per 36 also.

You are forgetting, two feet out is "midrange" for Rookie!
