Far from the worst start but nowhere near the best start either which is why I'll be hoping for an amazing final 22 games in order to have this team peaking @ the right time with both confidence and momentum.

(Because I've noticed how the previous Knicks Playoff teams who've limped into the Postseason {with a mediocre Record} during their final 22 games; didn't put up a fight nor last very long, @ all).

Fascinating stuff! You might really be on to something.

I can't really understand this without some check marks and X's.

It's very fascinating man.

And that we pretty much see how other Knicks playoff squads have done dating back to 1987 (all 19 of them) throughout their 1st 60 games etc

Now I'd like to look into the top 5 2nd half Records heading into Postseason play (their final 22 games).

1.) 1992-1993 = 18-4 (ECF team).
2.) 1993-1994 = 16-6 (NBA Finals team).
3.) 2012-213 = 16-6 (2nd Round team).
4.) 1991-1992 = 14-8 (2nd Round team).
5.) 1999-2000 = 14-8 (ECF team).

This is letting us know?

Here in 2022-2023?

If we plan on making a deep Playoff run?

We've gotta end these final 22 games anywhere from 8-10-14+ games above .500 from here on out.

Because it's no coincidence how all 5 of those teams (who finished strong) made it out of the 1st round, 2 into the ECF and 1 into the NBA Finals.

• I'll be thrilled with a 16-6 Record (49 win team).

So the better your in the regular season the better you are in the playoffs.
The later you are better in the regular season the better you can upset another (1999).

Thats it. The past or each of those rosters has no bearing on anything. They are irrelevant except for statistical probability.
In fact, you can grab wide samples of league and superimpose similar. Why? Its generic.
Teams with highest winning totals are favored to win it all. Does not execute every time, Top 4 years in regular season often produce a champion.

Knicks as 8th see in strike short season were there because they were awful in first part of season. They finished strong as they jelled. Then the upset vs. Miami. Be wary of low seeds that surge to make it in!
Teams that back into a high seed are prone to "upset".

You're not really on to anything here. Your only stating the obvious.
