They were gassed after miami game.
Expanding the rotation just prevents guys from getting into rhythm. This has already been ruled out.

"Ruled out" sounds very final. Like its your call.

Thibs said this when he shorted the rotation.
He seems to adhere to this and when a player is injured, he plugged in another.
Thibs seems to also be going with this group as it has succeeded. Grimes was in a funk and he did not bring EF back. He stuck with him.
When Mitch was out, Ihart was not moved up, simms was in. Then back out.
Does not guarantee success the rest of the way, but team has exceeded expectations and in hindsight executed very well. Fact is it might have saved his job.
sure.. if expand it means sitting RJ for McBride then sure, lets try it

Thibs said it earlier in the season, when the shortened rotation had plenty of gas in the tank. But what about now? What will they have left for a 7 game series?
Lets say they arent gassed for the most part. Giving some reserves some spot minutes before the playoffs might be a good motivator. Might even find some help.

Should I post RJ BARRETT numbers since the All-Star break?
I complained about this 9 man rotation when Thibs made this decision. My voice was dismissed because it led to a 9 game winning streak. I said it then, the players will get burnt out. And the entire board came at me with stats from other teams and coaches. Everybody said, we winning now. Sit back and be quiet. I was like ok, lets see when it's money time. Lets see if they will have the energy going into the playoffs. Well, we are close to money time, and the threads are starting to come loose.
My issue then was to avoid what we are seeing now. I rather go to a nine man rotation with 10-15 games left in the season (or sometimes close to season ending and playoffs beginnings). Gives the team a look at a tighter rotation as we prepare for the playoffs.
Hey, please prove me wrong so we can start this winning streak please. Prove to me that fatigue is not an issue, during out next game.
But to answer your question, it's too late to go back to a 10 man rotation now. Because in the playoffs, it's going to be an 8 man rotation.

That should be his motto. Be proud and do it loud. Loud part is kinda rhetorical. Maybe big too.
Do it on Twitter and then post the tweet to the forums. Double whammy.
