Yep. That’s how it works. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Todd we won despite your worst efforts to jinx us. Anyway, all we need is Dallas to win for extra happiness.
Great win, toughed it out. Game ball again goes to IQ. But I am so loving the cohesiveness, defence and smart play of the 3 big bench players: IQ + iHart + jHart.
Maybe the most satisfying win of the season. Sucks Randle getting hurt was part of it. Looked like a high ankle sprain. As tough as Randle is, I hope he gets the rest he needs. More important that he rehabs that ankle before the playoffs.
Awesome that Thibs let IQ finish. Brunson was out of synch, thats when players often get hurt. Didnt look like he had his legs back yet.
Obi is going to get more chances to make a case for himself. But Im sorry to say, he ran from that opportunity tonite. Kept running to the corner. Dont believe Thibs told him to do that. Needs a sense of urgency like a moth#*$@!.
Grimes is playing great lately, like a starter. He was using his elite first step to attack tonite, not like Ive seen in a while. If he could do that every nite... Because some nights, those shots wont be falling.
Would love to see where IQ would rank in a redraft now!
Josh Hart was crazy glue tonite. So was iHart

Obi played in the flow of the offense. He made several assists to shooters who were open. He played his role. Let's see what he does with some practices with a larger share of the offense

Fair enough. He definitely didnt look ready for it.
We play a easy schedule the next five games except for Cleveland. Maybe 3 of the 5 atleast for wins. I see us splitting with Indiana and kissing to Cleveland but Obi showing out. Obi going to raise his trade value for the offseason
I love how the Heat tried to rest Butler for this game causing them to lose a winnable game. They then lose this game anyway.

Obi can score in many ways. For some reason team wants him to shoot 3s, which he does, and score in transition. He competes on defense, I think he will pick it up. Look for him to play ok in Cleveland and then play well the last four games. I was hoping the team would have picked up a insurance power forward but it is what it is. I guess Jericho will get some time off the bench. Maybe 12 mins or so
There’s a zero percent chance IQ is not 6MOTY.
This was such a big win because it gives the Knicks breathing room so they can get Randle healthy. And Quickley just looks so comfortable out there. He seemed in complete control of the game.

Immanuel Quickley was A+ again.
But Quentin Grimes deserves a (big) piece of that game ball too.
• Led the team with 36 minutes played.
• 23 Points off 8/14 Shooting (.571%) including 5/10 from 3 (50%).
• 8 Rebounds.
• 4 Assists.
• 1 Steal.
• Relentless Defense.
So now Randle and Brunson are both hurt right before the playoffs. Why can't things go right for this team

Rest them the next 4 of 5 games. Play IQ and Obi like at the end of last season. Play Deuce and Sims and Evan off the bench next four games. Go 2-2 next four. Then bring back Julius and Brunson for the final games to get some rust off

This is all scripted man, sneak load management and extended rest for both Randle an Brunson. Pumps up IQ to seal the deal on 6MOY and you know Obi gonna smash this opportunity.
