YES! Artest SHOULD get the season for that. I feel like that's the right decision.
P.S. Ben doesn't deserve 6 but that's a PC move.
I think that's a little extreme. I'm actually on Artest's side through all of this.
I guess 6 is about right for Ben.
i thought Ben should have gotten at least 10 games...there was no need to overreact the way he did, & he escalated matters even further by continuing to go after Artest & then throwing a towel at him when things were beginning to get under control.
it makes me laugh to hear him preaching to the media about players using restraint when it comes to dealing w/the fans...he could have used some of that advise himself & kept his own emotions under control when Artest's foul wasn't even dirty to begin with.
just to add, i thought the referees did a disgraceful job of handling that situation, & they should also be reviewed by the league for possible suspensions...they should have ejected Ben right away for what he did & had him taken away from the court.
