That was terrible, Mitch needs to go to the bench now, he cannot shoot free throws

Stop it. This is a good group of role players. The Heat are just better coached and better seasoned.

RJ has been overall excellent in the playoffs. He and Brunson can stay
This series is over. We're fortunate we didn't get swept.
Watching game 5 going to be anticlimactic.

The objective is to get better

Yes, RJ has grown as a player these playoffs

Might be a blessing.
Only if that gets him traded.
We wont get better with Rsndle as the second option.
Knicksfan wrote:WP76 wrote:Quickley has been severely missed this postseason and particularly in this series.
Yes, even when he has played, so it’s been his fault.
Sure would've been nice to have had regular season Randle and regular season Quickley in the postseason. We don't and Miami's just toying with us (without Herro, no less). Yeah, it's depressing.

Josh Hart, Isiah Hartenstein, Duece and Obi have also been intriguing. I'm sure we'll be able to say the same with Quickly, now that he has a bit more playoff experience

These five shot possessions by Miami are killing us.
Yeah, those and… Their 3 pointers and… Their defense and… Their rebounding and… their coaching and…
We are just being thoroughly outplayed. Honestly, the difference in this series is coaching.
Game was lost on the boards Tonight. Heat are all over every ball
Randle is trash and Mitch treats ball like a greased pig.

Randle is good in that regular season game facing the pistons at home in January

Excuse much?

That’s what I mean by dumb. They look unfocused, confused, with a bad plan that in no way can overcome the Heat’s.

...and hustle, heart, and discipline.
How and why is that a foul on Hart?
Miami just the better team, unfortunately. Outplayed us in every game. Even the game we won had that weird mistake on the shot clock violation. Maybe next season....
Yeah, getting this far with what they have is a testament to Spo as a coach, Butler as a an alpha on a team, and a bunch of good role players and high-IQ old guys. They can play in the moment and adjust. Our guys have deer-in-the headlights look. Brunson is the real deal but he needs a consistent couple of other guys who can punish teams if they load up too much on him.
So we can elbow players in the face now?
