There is talk about him leaving Philly. Would he be a good fit for the team?

I think a Harden, JB backcourt can work offensively. It might also be worse backcourt defense we've ever seen.

I've only seen Brunson during the post-season (don't watch the regular season now I'm a dad), so my opinion isn't worth much, but it seems to me that Harden is a bit too like Brunson for them to work together on the offensive end.

So, like the Cavs? But with Brunson at least taking charges?

He would actually cement our offense as a legit 1a-b player. The determining factor would be - can we take advantage of his PnR skills? If the answer is yes,and he would provide 10 easy points for Randle, Obi, Mitch and Simms I think the answer is pretty clear. But is Thibs the guy to make it happen without an offensive coordinator? I doubt it

Like the Cavs, but replacing Mobley's consistent help defense with Randle intermittent defensive rotations.

no! i dont think harden has too much left in the tank. also he is vastly inconsistent in the playoffs and known for just mailing in games.

Like the Cavs, but without the ability for Randle and Mitch to easily beat up on their big men

Harden without the work load thru the season could be interesting. For it to work. You talking about a harden who takes a big pay cut but motivated to win a chip and not be a dick about it. Play off the ball.

Harden can play defense. He is a big assist guy so its not he don’t pass. He does. He was not consistant in the playoffs. Truth is not all stars are. Lower the bar. And think about him with;

Harden
JB
JR
Randle
Ayton

Bench: Grimes, iHart, Josh, Deuce, Obi Replacement.

Harden has to take very friendly deal and Philly gets EF and Obi in return or nothing.
Very low probablity so not worth blasting me.
Harden has not demonstrated that level commitment to winning without the fanfare. I doubt his ego lets him be a role player even if its for a chip. I don’t know the guy but I’d be surprised.
