It's sports so of course this guy will eventually get another job but talk about leaving a mess behind for the next guy. 500 million in pay roll, an aged roster demanding new contracts, and a host of draft picks that haven't worked out. Whoever takes this job is going to end up smelling like shit.

There's a clip in that article where Bob says "It's not you baby, it's me." "I can't give 1000% anymore" or some other bullshit. He's had a good run as GM, no doubt- but there was never a time when I thought "Wow, what an amazing front office." I think Draymond was all about Steve Kerr and KD was all about Draymond. Drafting Klay was a good move, but trading DLo for Wiggins seems like it was all about Minnesota's desperation to get KAT to sign an extension.

Whoever takes the next job has a lifetime of dealing with irate strangers demanding "why did you break up the greatest dynasty in sports?" for the rest of his life.

"We sat at the same table," Green recalled. "And [Warriors general manager] Bob Myers walked past us and he's like, 'You all still sit together?'"

This time last year, the trio had been together for 10 years. They were about to close out their fourth title. And they were still sitting together on the team plane for the longest flight in the NBA.

"I just said to them, 'Do you know how unusual it is for players to play together for a long time and want to hang out together?'" Myers said. "But they still sat at this table after all these years. I don't think they even know how unique that is because they've never been anywhere else. But people don't stay together this long, and when they do, they tire of each other."

This is hilarious because you could also interpret it as "Bob Myers is 50 years old and doesn't have any friends."

This is about the dumbest take I’ve read in a while, glad you announced it so colorfully, thanks for that

His draft history looks kind of rough.

The original title was "Polyphemus Strikes Back: Why you shouldn't brag about a two tiered plan" but the number one rule of good writing is know your audience.

No draft pick, no cap space, Grimes has probably aged out of summer league, you can't blame a man for trying.
