What I really want is for Detroit and Washington to get their acts together and make the play-in at least
Nalod @ 4/9/2024 5:05 PM
Clingan ahead of Edey.........Not the first time either.

Bronny has been told he can defend at NBA level. his height and build remind anyone of Deuce?
Maybe something to this? Just a guess. Got that genetic thing perhaps?
Curious to see what Bronny does. Musselman is a good one so maybe he stays if they a good team. Bronny heart freaking stopped!! Im sure he is good now and it curtailed his season some. Best thing is for him to go undrafted and land with a team that will develop him?

Man, this draft sucks. This is one of the few times I wouldn't mind them trading out.

no way we are drafting 3-4 guys. Guessing we kick the first rounders down the road, draft someone in the 2nd round and bring Rokas... run the rest of it back
Nalod @ 4/10/2024 1:24 PM
Draft sucks? Perhaps. There is little clarity on a top 3 picks.
Maybe this is the draft to have multiple picks and perhaps even move up given the premium won't be that high if.....team has a strong conviction on a few players that might be over looked. History demonstrated plenty of players get over looked.....
DM? Haliburton? and our very own dimumitive lilliputian we call Brunson who went in second round. Maxi was 21st. IQ was 25th. Deuce was second round. There is gold im them thar hills!
NCAA with transfers also has players who were over looked and moved to bigger schools and are showing up big.
There is opportunity potential is this draft. WE draft well. We won't know anything until the draft is done and perhaps a few years to see wants up.

The second round pick rising to 36 is nice. It’s a pick where the Knicks can lock down a quality player on a 4-year minimum deal.

Deuce 2.0

Sounds like this isn't the greatest of drafter according to what some are saying, but how far up can 24 & 25 get us in a trade if there are some people we like who drop into the mid/high teens?

Every year there is talk about moving up and we never do. I doubt two picks in the 20s would move you up much at all or that there would be any takers. More likely is the sort of thing we’ve seen in the past - trading a pick for future assets or something. Or perhaps included in a trade. I like others would like to see the Knicks bring in some young talent - use one of the firsts and the second.

Porzingis!

I find it really interesting that after 5 years, as the last piece of the trade comes due, the two teams end the season with the exact same record. You could say now that the trade was fair and a win-win. (Though it includes Knicks stealing JB as one of the offshoots of the trade)
