I don't know, but he does sound like he was bullying Peter Parker in high school at some point.

Will be nice to see what the development team has accomplished with Trevor Keels in a year. His lateral agility scores were horrible. But his skills were clear. Hope they have him in good condition.

What’s the roster already?

So if you’re wondering why I’m so active today it’s because I’m off work right now. So I used this time to catchup on Jacob topin. And I see why he wasn’t drafted (in the same breath coach cal was a perfect coach for him. He talked about defense a lot and had several long post game interviews at Kentucky and especially during the tournament. He’s inconsistent on offense but growing into being consistent on defense which is important to crack thibs rotation. And his mid range game is improving. He’s not ready out the gate, but if he continues this growth and now able to workout with nba players, he has a bright future. Very mature and articulate. Takes ownership on the games they lost and keeps a positive attitude.

Adding Jacob to the roster is the type of chess moves Leon and company does. They love making moves that addresses multiple things. This move calms the tension with obis camp. But we also added a promising player with loads of tools, diverse skill set and a young up and coming 2 way player. It’s a win win. Great job by the FO with this chess move.

Knicks worked him out earlier. Seems like he has NBA athleticism. Don't know much about his game.

none of these guys will impact the main knicks roster. however, if we can instill culture, the westchester knicks will have a good shot
technomaster @ 6/29/2023 4:28 PM
I'd love to see RJ Barrett forced to play PG for the SL Knicks for a few games.
Knixkik @ 6/30/2023 7:44 AM
So if I had to guess, the starting 5 might be Toppin, Roby, Jaylen Martin, Keels, and Jokubaitis ? Seems like the 5 they would prioritize the most right ?

Im very curious to see how both Isaiah Roby snd Jacob toppin perform in summer league. I know its been reported the Thibs is comfortable with imploring a small line up with Hart playing the 4. Begley also mentioned that Thibs like a frontcourt of Sims and Ihart for bigger matchups.

Is it possible that Roby or J-Toppin will dominate the summer league grabbing the attention of thibs to consider a more traditional PF for the bench unit.

There are people clowning the knicks for the team's recent signings. A few years back steve mills signed quite a number of powerForwards for the team. Fastforward to now when Leon then signed a number of 6'5" and below players. This team feels alot more complete than the New York powerforwards. Im just alittle worried they are too small at the 4 and other teams will surely take advantage of that.

I'm totally joking here of course but we need to say this out loud so it is clear: the Knicks are adding more space and movement players who guard and rebound really well and going more in the direction of GS style of play on offense.

We should LOVE THIS

We (the Knicks) apparently don’t give a crap so far only announced Keels, J Martin, J Toppin, K Moore and R Thompson

Hoping maybe we let Deuce, D-Washington and I-Roby play so we are competitive - maybe even D-Jeffries and even Simms coming off injury but NO IDEA

Keels better have dropped 12-15 Lbs or not sure I would have much hope — he can shoot/pass but he was grounder + sluggish last year.
