How doe we get OG if RJ is still on the roster? He will command a nice raise and RJ as bench player is a lot of money to pay.
OG will earn more than RJ and its debatable given the two year age difference.

I saw the podcast of KFS hosted by Fred Katz, he said there that the knicks are very much interested in OG leading up to the trade deadline and interestingly enough all the trade packages presented didnt include RJ, its mostly a pick heavy package. If FVV bolts and joins the Rockets that might signal the start of the Raptors rebuild. Im hoping if the knicks trade for OG, a package of Obi and Grimes plus a couple of picks or 3 could seal the deal. But with Fred out, the Raptors might ask for IQ, im hoping they keep IQ. If Grimes go, signing DiVincenzo could soften the blow. If they can leave Obi out of the OG trade and just trade him to the Rockets for Usman Garuba, that might work

Toronto is a tough read. Very tough. Siakim on last year of deal, FVV unrestricted, and OG wants extension and more shots. Massai is not dummy either.
If FVV walks perhaps IQ is a good fit there. He can get starters minutes and perhaps the money he wants. Trent JR at the 2 is not a long term solution and a tradable contract.
They also have POETL as a free agent. Toronto is a fascinating study and really a team in transition. Was the issues fit? Nurse is gone? and they have tradable contracts and space if FVV leaves. They can make a big splash for a big player. LIke the guy in Nola.

Under the new CBA. Not sure if we would be able to afford retaining IQ & Hart while adding OG who will also want a nice extension number. One of RJ or IQ will probably have to be moved.
