True and seemingly most of summer league taking recovery days before day 2 even began - but Scoot and Amen both legit.

Watched the Spurs first SL. What amazes me is how low to the ground a 7'3 center can keep his upper body, when he drives. KP had some guard moves as a rookie, but he couldnt consistently keep the ball as low to the ground , as this kid .And Wemby can pass too!

Looking forward to a Jokic/Wemby matchup.

Windhirst was in the Bill Simmons podcast recently and he said that Wemby's coach was a big fan of And1 they would spend time practicing those moves. He also made them watch the Pistol Pete ballhandling training guide.

Can’t wait to see him play in NY for the Nets.

Will be a great 20 games combined next 2 years

Damn I think I could box Wemby out. They need to trade for Keels and make him hang out with Wemby for a season.

Wemby is a bust. They should trade Wemby for Keels.

The entire Detroit starting line up is essentially playing in the summer league and getting dusted

Knicks could’ve bought into draft and we just didn’t
Could easily hit sanogo especially with obi gone and just did not
Many teams in the upper end playoffs were in on the draft

Thankfully yes they did. I wonder if we got that Dallas pick if he would have been the guy given the Villanova trend, or would the Knicks have put the same stock in the bad workouts/ interviews as the other teams did. Whitmore would have been a perfect prospect for this team positionally as a 3/4, and essentially become the backup PF. A Whitmore/ DiVincenzo offseason would have been fantastic. Knicks should have given themselves a shot at a player in this draft regardless with all of the protected picks they own that won’t make a difference in a star trade.

They took a calculated risk including their own pick and not giving the Dallas pick to Portland. Team was hoping we get pick 11 or an early teen pick.
