Who is better defender D Mitchell or Z LaVine —— I’ve got LaVine —— how about you guys?

Like choosing between syphilis and gonorrhea.

Derozen is a stat guy. He took some blame for Toronto not getting over the hump, but he seems good in Chinatown? Yet, they have not succeeded in his era there? I know Lonzo was a big part of it but?
Lavine also. We talk about both here like they are good trade targets. They are talented, but would they be good Knick players?

I like both players because they have scored in clutch moments and outside of Brunson the rest of our roster fumbles & crumbles under pressure.

DeRozen is more tricky because of age, defense, ball dominance and lots of mid-range.

For me I’ve always just liked watching LaVine (love the body and how he glides on the floor) but most importantly he is highly skilled, efficient, scores in/out and has the ability to take over in big games - plus he would seem to be reasonably obtainable.

fucking spell check, should not have read "Chinatown", was "ChiTown"........

Can't say the Bulls are succeeded with those two. Grass is always greener. We all got our opinions despite.

I don't think last year's Rose was this healthy...

I'm guessing that Thibs realized early on that Rose needed time off to rest his knees. Considering their history, I dont blame him.

Look what it did for Melo's game. Extended his career by a few years.

Yet we start Brunson, Barrett & Randle

It could be worse. It used to be Kemba, Fournier, RJ and Randle in the SL.

And I'm sure Rose is going to be able to do this and play like this come February, March and April.

Lavine was -2.2 and Mitchell was +2.3 even though Mitchell was on one of the top rated defenses. I am surprised how bad Mitchell has been at defense given his athleticism and his net wingspan. His defense was highly touted coming out of Louisville. Playing with strong defenders like Conley and Gobert, I would have expected him to have better defense overall. He has the tools to be a good defender and would expend him to have better stats here.

Sad for us but really happy for DRose. He is such a solid person. Nothing but joy for him.

nycericanguy @ 10/30/2023 1:46 PM
Rose is shooting 36% and MEM is 0-3
Reddish barely plays and is averaging 3ppg and shooting 36%
Obi is barely playing more in IND and averaging just 7.5ppg on 43%

Maybe, just maybe... Thibs actually knows what he's doing?

You'd think these guys were out there like gangbusters the way they get hyped up.

Love Rose, but he's just about done, and I for one was thrilled that Thibs didn't let his history and relationship with Rose get in the way of benching him and playing IQ more.

Nalod @ 10/30/2023 2:13 PM
DRose need only last 25 games until Jah returns. he looked like shit last year for us.
His highlights look great. Highlights. No misses. Nothing but the good stuff and a tweet to steer you there.

Watching Obi now. Did not know he starts?

Glad he’s getting PT. He appears to be a great person and hope for the best. He’s getting a great opportunity in Indy.

Clippers have now cornered the market on the best, over the hill guards that have won 0.
