Lakers and Suns dealing with all time greats who are also coach killers who insist on GMing. Happy it's their problem.

When Alvarez plays they do very well. Issue is he seems to always be hurt. Great off the bench player.

Whose Alvarez

Looks like the Heat are at the end of their rope. And yet Riley always finds a way

When the Heat opted to take on the final 2 ½ years of Terry Rozier’s contract in January, it largely eliminated two pools of potential targets this summer: 1). Players who would consider the $12.4 million non taxpayer’s midlevel exception and 2). Players who, for the first time in NBA history, could be traded for that exception. It also made keeping Caleb Martin highly unlikely and retaining Haywood Highsmith far more difficult. And it also significantly decreased the chance of the Heat signing any free agent above a minimum contract this summer. – via Miami Herald

Its time. I loved that show for years. But its tired. The freshness is gone. I like them all.
But the humor is gone. Charles has little left. Shaq is inaudible and Kenny Smith just has no fresh takes.
It happens. There is a beginning, middle and an end to everything.
Its not out of the question either NBC brings them as a team or if Amazon does a broadcast they also could do it.

Amazon would be the perfect spot. But the show would be a shadow of itself without Ernie.

I know it's too much to ask for, but please bring this intro back.

That music bought back some bad stuff. NBA, Walton, and all things Michael Jordan.
Ever fucking whistle he got, every soul he crushed, and knick dreams that ended BEGAN with that song!!!

Even the intro ends with Jordan double pump! Nope, bury that god damn thing. It was the sound track to the jordan era.

What I really want to see is some announcers announcing the game in 2024. I am not a huge fan of the current NBA product, but if I had to hear SVG say "...in 1995, that wasn't even a foul , let alone being looked at as a flagrant foul" or the like one more time..." Please get announcers that announce the game in it's current time frame not 30 years ago.

Funny, When he said that I thought it was something someone here would say.
The shot in question was Siakim was clearly going for the ball but had a wind up.
After Josh and Siakim were laughing about it.

In 1995 you did have players selling and flopping. You had blood.
Game was different then and Stan did say "NBA is protecting its players".

They have to also dissect and make fans understand the replays when refs are looking for flagrant fouls. The one Where Jackson and Hartenstein beefed, in replay was not as egregious as DDV sold it. It was a hard foul no doubt. In real time it was bad. Replay I thought they got it right.

I get it and he isnt't wrong. I'd go as far as saying I agree with him. But I have been hearing the same commentary for 5 games now. Miller harped on it. SVG harped on it. JVG used to harp on it. Anyone who played in the league pre-pussification harps on it. Eventually-speaking for myself-I get tired of hearing it. Call the game in 2024. I dont need to hear a 30 year old analyais.

Chandler @ 5/16/2024 10:58 AM
^^ i disagree. Replay shows Jackson was effectively winding up with his shoulder to deliver a blow with that screen. Refs blew it
