DDV has no issue scoring and getting shots with the starters. The opportunities are there for Grimes too if he can learn to take advantage.

First time we have won the 2nd of a back to back this year. Its been a tough schedule in terms of opponents, but even moreso in terms of the travel/concentration of games. 8-5 start after all that.

We have been in the lead for over 96 straight minutes

Plus RJ and Grimes missing games, Randle still recovering, and Brunson starting a little wonky. Other teams have had it worse, but depth was seen as a strength going in. Anyway, I'm content for now.

Some things I like about Donte is he will not hesitate if he is open. He also will not rush the shot if he is open. He compliments his shooting with cuts to keep the defense honest.
CorkyM @ 11/18/2023 10:03 PM
Very happy to see them win another one!
gradyandrew @ 11/18/2023 10:39 PM
Randle leading the way again with 8 assists. A lot of similarities in his game to Melo, but Melo was never able to make those around him better.

Exactly the NBA game is a game of runs and momentum swings. Sometimes a player gets hot and you can ride him for a stretch of even a few minutes and that's the ball game. Can't take any stretch of a game as insignificant. Have to have a team with as much depth and versatility as you can possibly have

Man Monday vs Minny should be a battle - Minny #1 in West —- Kat coming off 29 with only 1 missed FG. Gobert, Ant, now McDaniels/Conley all playing well.

Knicks only play Mon and Friday next week so EVERYTHING going to go into Monday —- hopefully big games for everyone and we steal road win. Friday Miami back to the garden.

LivingLegend @ 11/19/2023 10:06 AM
Jalen and Julius were terrific - Donte wow.

Both Donte/Hart just making all the right plays, timed cuts, passes, each with 3 steals.

Oh and Mitch just dominated play and liked I-Hart minutes jumping on boards the second he hit the floor.

Hornets knocking down shots all over and Ish Smith prayer of course that went in for true Knick killer

I agree on the part where Randle makes players better vs Melo.

Julius wants/enjoys to pass - Carmelo did it as a last resort. Julius was fantastic last night - particularly when enforcing his body on soft Hornet match-ups.

Side note - for such a skilled/talented player there is something completely vapid in LaMelo Ball’s game.

DDV is looking like another reason why we don’t need to trade for Donovan Mitchel.
