After playing mostly good teams on the road at the start of the season we are still in 4th place. That is impressive.
ToddTT @ 1/6/2024 9:28 PM
Clyde and Pidto are a good tandem.
GustavBahler @ 1/6/2024 9:28 PM
Hartenstein is playing himself into being the full time starter next season. What might tip the scale in his favor is not just his well rounded game, but his availability. The last part might seal the deal, depending on how the rest of the season plays out.

Feel OG missed an opportunity to get OG more involved on offense.
Needs more aggression.

In the past we'd have to worry if multiple players were going to lay an egg.

Now they just need to buckle down and give more effort.

I'm not convinced yet that Grimes and Deuce can give us the bench scoring we need in a playoff run. When the D will be much more stout.

I believe we still need a sub who can score with the shot clock running out.

I think Grimes can get it….Deuce, not so much

Yeah. He was standing in the corner a little bit.

Yeah. He was standing in the corner a little bit.

Thought the game against Philly he came out, drove a few times and looked to score but missed some close shots and then stopped.
He has such great length and is quick so that should translate to a very good offensive player.
Reading some posts on Raptor fan forum seemed they had the same complaint we had of Frank.
Think OG will only get better. His impact is high regardless of how many shots he takes though.

Believe I smell 4th in the Eastern conference?
TheMTL @ 1/6/2024 9:51 PM
Great Win. But the Knicks need to try to get OG a little more involved in the offense. Reports said he did want more touches than in Toronto. Knicks gotta at least match his touches

Totally agree, Clyde mentioned it a few times when he passed up open shots. Hope he clears this up once he feels more comforatable.

I find myself checking Sixer and Bucks records above us in standings EACH has played 6 less games on road than Knicks.

3 in loss column behind Philly and hopefully 4 behind Bucks if Rockets can close them out.

I used to dread weekend Knicks games. Now I look forward to Friday night Knicks. We could use an update to the Friday night Knicks song or "Go New York", but it doesn't matter. What matters is that we win and they lose. I remember all those lol Knicks takes and I took it. Now I'm on some Dolan petty s#!t and it's time for all these poverty franchises to get their comeuppance!

You're welcome, brother. Sounds like a wild three minutes!!!

this team looks so much more balanced now. RJ & IQ were out there just looking to ISO all the time. Still not a huge fan of the trade but OG is such a good fit and the roster just makes more sense now. All our defenders move down a peg so everyone gets easier assignment's now. DDV might also be a better off ball player than IQ and we got him for $11m, probably with the intention of moving IQ later, so that makes sense even if it hurts to lose a homegrown guy like IQ, DDV is an excellent replacement.

And the Mitch injury, I mean it sucks but it has really allowed IHart to showcase his game and he just has more elements to his game, is much more durable, and better suited to play starter minutes. Mitch was always a half game, 50-60 game player.
