Knicks · GET OUT THE VOTE! (All star ballots!!!) today Jan 20th last day to vote! (page 1)

gradyandrew @ 1/10/2024 9:25 AM
Everyone here should be voting once a day for Randle and JB. It looks like Trae Young is going to be the starter with some other wack ass players. Don't vote for any non Knicks in the East. OG iHart and DDV won't be all stars but you don't want to help anyone beat out JR and JB. Download the app, set a timer on your phone and vote every day. Go NY Go NY Go!

Easiest way for me in China is to download the NBA ap and set a timer on your phone. You can vote once a day. I just open the ap, click all- star votes, and then resubmit my ballot. Takes one minute. Also, just vote all Knicks in the East- you don't want to help anyone else's candidacy. I think even if they don't get into the game by votes, total votes also play a part in NBA and coaches decisions. I'm also thinking about offering my students extra credit for voting. LOL

Some may not know where to go or how to vote. Me personally I thought it was a one time voting process vs voting once a day?

The Knicks’ defense is humming, and Jalen Brunson being willing to sacrifice his body is a perfect example of why.

I wish I could offer some sort of insight into why Jalen Brunson is taking so many charges this season.

I don’t have any direct quotes from the Knicks’ star point guard, nor do I have any feigned insight into his logic behind sacrificing his body so much this season as a means of using his small stature as a legitimate threat to larger wings and centers who are looking to score on New York in transition.

It’s just a part of blogging, being unable to speak with players directly about those processes and getting into how point A led to point B when it comes to improving certain aspects of their game. But that’s okay – Brunson, as anyone who has watched the Knicks over his tenure with them these last two years, is clearly just the type of person and player willing to hit the hardwood over, and over, and over again, if it means saving a few points for his team.

Brunson, standing at 6’1 (although you’d never guess that with the way he shoves his way into a mid-range shot), is having the best season of his career. Averaging 26 points per game through 36 games played, he’s shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 43 percent from three-point range on the most attempts he’s ever taken from that distance. In short, his size has certainly not impacted his ability to go on burners. He was also named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the first week of play in the new year... More in link

I'm in this camp and also the camp that says if they get too many honors, we won't be able to afford them when it's time to renew them.

They can win a championship if they want honors.

If they deserve the All Star credentials. They should receive the All Star credentials. Denying what they earned in order to lower their compensations is all kinds of messed up.

NYStateOfMind @ 1/10/2024 2:36 PM
I voted. Go Knicks. Even voted OG, Kristaps, & Spida, after JB & JR of course.
TheMTL @ 1/10/2024 4:32 PM
For Randle to not even be in the Top 10 in forwards is absurd. He'll get in through the coaches though
Rookie @ 1/10/2024 5:06 PM
Ive never voted before but I'm on top of it this year. It does helot have these reminders though. I've missed a few days just because I forgot
ToddTT @ 1/10/2024 5:07 PM
I just voted.

AND I'LL DO IT AGAIN!

ToddTT @ 1/10/2024 5:09 PM
grady, you might consider editing your first post and add the voting link.

I think there are several that will get you there. I've been using this...

I just want Jules to go into the playoffs with healthy ankles.

I don't get it. There are players with 3M votes and we can't even get Brunson and Randle to 400K

Nah, just another "credential" those that were wrong about Randle would hate to explain.

Haters hate to admit they were wrong.
Valid point was made about NBA.com never showcasing our players.
People love to hate NYC.
But BALL DONT LIE. They will make it via coaches.

Nah, according to these ESPN and these Twitter streets it's Randle's lack of playoff production that keeps his rankings low. And let's be real, what's the last All Star game you've watched from start to finish?
