So i guess we are winning the championship?
I’d like to personally thank the Nuggets for mailing this one in and Knicks good job of putting them away early.
Yes, Nuggets looked spent. At the same time, Knicks executed like a playoff team. Making the right decisions, over and over again.
The most encouraging thing for me about Sims performance tonite. Was early in the game when Jokic tried to back Sims in, and he held his ground. Jokic got the message, and didnt try it again. It also gave Sims confidence.
Thats been the biggest drawback to his game. Getting pushed around in the paint.

"She's hired" said Jimmy D when she walked out on the floor.
In her into she said "I'm from Tampa Florida" and I thought- yep!

Dave Debusschere 2.0?
Good defender, can shoot from distance, professional demeanor, can do a little of everything...
RJ was never a good mix with Brunson and Randle in the starting lineup.
I can't wait to hear the lame media excuse takes. Long road trip is the weakest unless this was a tight loss. We beat the teams we are supposed to and now teams we aren't expected to. Nuggets didn't. Pure domination & JB still won't get his R E S P E C T, Kenny is just a Knicks/JB hater. OG is just unreal.

Talking to McBride right? I mean c'mon- JR is two time all NBA, but yeah there's some comedy there.
Yes I was and I know Julius is 2X but yes makes me chuckle.
Tonight was OG all star snub night?
Has Thibs ever smiled before? Could be first time this year anyway
Rozier a -28 in 33 point loss to Celtics - Boston is pretty good 😊
All jokes aside, at the end of the 2020-21 season there was a lot of hype going into the Knicks road game in Denver. Randle said something along the lines of "I'm not worried about the MVP, I'm also an MVP" and the Nuggets absolutely thrashed the Knicks. After that game I was pretty confident that the Nuggets would win a championship just based on the size they had across every position. I was also pretty confident that regardless of record, the Knicks were still far, far away from being a contender.
So for me, I think this was just a huge win for Randle. You can see he's really evolved as a player- those 11-19 shooting nights have become standard for him. Especially that play where he got blocked under the basket, recovered, then banked one off the glass through Jokic shows that he's become someone who not only has the confidence to go at anyone but the skill to get it done. He's evolved and the team around him has simply gotten better.
Knicks will have a big test against the revamped Heat which should also be a good measuring stick. My thinking is that if the Knicks keep it up there will likely be vets around the league telling their agents to get them to New York. Not many playoff teams have space under the second apron and New York is a far more attractive destination than OKC or Indiana. Knicks should have a good chance to add 1 or 2 more vets looking to cook in the playoffs.
This is still the best quote ever
Your New York Knicks are currently in the 4th spot in the Eastern Conference, 2 games behind the Sixers. Lots of basketball still to play obviously, but I think it’s significant.

I had to turn off the fucking tv
Who's he scaring?
Ok. My first in attendance game of the season was vs the Celtics. We had a 3rd quarter lead that we blew but man we played Boston tight. Now with Nuggets, we had like a 35 point lead, benches unlocked and I was still curious if we would hold the lead. Shell shock. Or Miller lite.
1) OG is a fucking beast. Yeah. He is loose on offense. Confidence needs to be there. Finger rolls instead of dunks will get you castrated in NY. He’s a fucking beast and needs to accept that. He disrupted Mike Maloney offense all night.
2) Randle is a new man. He is 100% making better decisions. Those 8 assists came without any pomp or circumstance. Just showed out with 8 assists. No forcing it. Just natural. DDV hit his shots.
3) Loki is a trickster. Oops. I mean Jalen MF Brunson. A) I wish I had the relationship with my dad (rip) he has. It’s awesome to watch. 2) His center of balance is elite. 3) If he got half the call Jokic got he would have 3 rings:
4) Jokic is an enigma. That’s the softest 31 points I’ve ever ever ever seen. His passing is elite. He deserved either an Emmy or a tech for his flopitude.
5) Gary Payton the first of his name would be proud of Hart. GLOVES.
6) Sims/Achiuwa held it down.
7) OG Anunoby gets game ball and a cigar. Jamaal Murray is legit and holding him to 7 points is insane.
8) Game was over when the Challenge on Anunoby’s Jokic swipe/foul/flop was overturned. Knicks have credibility. OG is a force. Lock him up. $35mm per unless he is willing to take less to give the Knicks room.
9) I honestly don’t remember Grimes scoring so many points. Will have to re watch.
10) Miami is next. Then, we rest.

Joyful JuJu
This Ju is all NBA. Gonna be hard to close out this year. But if he plays like this all season next year? All NBA. He has the capability to average a triple double on this team.
